I am SO intrigued about her next live "thing". Especially if it's a residency. 

 

Bey has been so current and envelope-pushing with her output and tying her tours to their respective projects that it makes a "general" hits-focal residency for a 4-year span hard to wrap my head around. She's such an "eventized" attraction that I kinda sorta feel having her doing guaranteed shows "just because" kinda sorta takes a way from that a little.

 

A "general" Beyonce show could work in such a space (see: Revel, a downscaled Homecoming etc), but I'm fascinated to see if it will be her finally embracing a "here are the hits" model or still being a bit more edgy/aggressive in her marketing and still tying it to a project "Renaissance: Live in Las Vegas" or "Rodeo: Beyonce Live in Las Vegas". 

 

I think I'd prefer the latter, as I'm not quite ready for her to become a legacy act. Granted Vegas has changed and the gworls are managing to still be current while setting up shop there, Bey is the furthest thing from a "here are the hits" act (often to her own detriment and our dismay when she pays her biggest hits dust lol). So, making her potential Vegas shows more of a capsule for her project/s at the time feels like a fair compromise. Maybe an evolving show too. So, what may be "Renaissance Live in Las Vegas" now could be '__insert Act III Title: Live in Las Vegas__' a year or two from now.

CC would have been perfect as a residence and the next Rock/Blues album a full on stadium tour with all 3 acts and some of her previous songs sprinkled in. 
 

Anyways, there was a big sense of anticipation and excitement when we got all the Renaissance info and the beginning of the acts and now it's just meh. 

3 albums announced and the  

first one had a tour and teased visuals so naturally one would assume the other two would have the same as well. We anticipated 3 eras with full on execution since she's shown she could plan and do it given the ST and Lemonade projects…Yet here we are with no visuals for any of them, no videos even for the singles, no promo, no live performances outside the tour, just Instagram photos. 
 

If anything it seems the Acts are all one era for her and plugging in things where she can. 

She perfectly killed the pleasure of anticipation with her, so kudos to that.

 

For all I care, I aint moving until i see an insta post of hers with a spotify link.

Rumors of tours, visuals, performances, apparences? I aint moving one bit any longer. I couldnt even be bothered to tune in for a "potential" Bey apparence. No confirmation on her part -> im checked out.

 

The whole "visual teasers" bs and CC vinyl bs were SUCH big letdowns that im now wary to any product released under her name. Shes lost a Ton of credibility with those two things for me, so im not gonna hype up anything anymore
