Tbh, her finishing the trilogy with an act that she really adores (and we all know shed enjoy a 60/70s inspired Motown album the most) seems like the right thing to do. Maybe then shes also ready to really do a performance or two and just showcase the album more than CC

I'm unsure which one I dislike, the gloves or the belt. I also wish she had an accessory or something to help elevate the look. Hell, she's always in a pair of damn sunglasses.

Still very confused about "What is B7? B8".

 

At the time it seemed like she was teasing 2 albums, but since it is supposedly a trilogy wouldn't she have also said B9 too?

 

I see 3 possible scenarios:

1. She was telling Hive Renaissance isn't B7 but B8 because she considers The Gift to be her 7th album.

2. There is actually only 2 albums and Act III is the visual project.

3. Since she originally wanted to release CC first but went with Renaissance then in her mind B7 is CC and B8 is Renaissance.

i thought CC was the only album set to drop & covid happen so she spent more time and made a trilogy.

B7 was originally Beyincé and B8 was Renaissance.

 

plans changed during the development of the albums 

The trilogy was always going to happen. If I remember correctly, she was making RENAISSANCE and had the intention of dropping CC first. The pandemic hit and she switched it around.  Now that I think about it, I'm sure Act III was finished a while ago but she more than likely wanted to go back and record new material. 

 

With certain songs on CC being added last minute and the debacle of the vinyls, I don't think she wants to go through that again.

the curtains and carpet don't look photoshopped to me. it's kinda the same vibe as her other "red carpet at home" photoshoots. she definitely has a dedicated space for this lol  queen diva mother etc

the belt is fugly and the fabric/color mismatch between the skirt, shirt and gloves is not cute. she's not serving fashion, really, this is more "casual" for her.

 

she looks great though!

I do think it's time for Act 3 now, the small hints are back.

You could very well be right, but I think the picture you shared is actually taken at the Oscars. Those are different curtains and a different carpet.

 

She posted another pic the other night in front of off-white curtains, so I assumed they were all taken at the same time and place.

 

I can't believe we are at the stage of analyzing curtains.... I hate her

oh you may be right then. it's such a weird thing to photoshop though  maybe she didn't like how the piss yellow skirt looked in front of the white backdrop
