Beyoncé

This is part 1 of the Beyoncé discussion.

The more I'm thinking about it that lady really called Beyoncés husband a house n word hard r. I hope Beyoncé cuts her off for good and makes it known. She has good reason to. That lady can make all the accusations she wants but the only people that eat it up are the people that already hate Beyoncé. I'm actually disgusted by her tweets. Imagine if Beyoncé tweeted some dumb **** like that.

I stopped believing those rumors after Brazilian tour dates were "confirmed" multiple times for the past 2 years. I wish yall would put touring rumors to a rest.

i've been yearning to see the rennie film again ever since i went to the global premiere. and i have also been very patiently excited to show my friends and boyfriend the film, since they didn't catch it in theaters.

now for some reason, mother decided it wasn't a film to be seen by everyone. so my question is: has anyone stumbled upon any type of (good, hq) recording or rip or even ill*g*l le*k of the film yet? because i simply cannot spend any more patience on this lovely beautiful perfectly insane and sometimes intolerable queen of a woman :heart2:

Become? She needs to drop that at this point.

Love the photoshoot and interview is fun to. I love how she keeps dropping these quotes that could potentially say a lot but probably make sense at a later date :lmao:

the way we actually had a theory about this before :jonny:

past: COWBOY CARTER

present: act iii

future: RENAISSANCE

(she even says "future renaissance" in PURE/HONEY)

Amazing interview in GQ.

I like that she seldom does interviews, but when she does it often fulfils in a really gratifying way.

She pretty much covered everything.

I still don't believe that there are no visuals. Sis is just reconfiguring ish after ish went left BTS.

Spoiler

...But I legit think that's the case.

This lady is just weird at this point and this interview is just a sirdavis plug

It makes sense, in both acts she honored past icons/pioneers, showed us where these different sound/genres headed for the future and how Bey sees them at the moment/through her view. Or maybe the three acts are symbols for past/present/future? The aesthetics so far are definitely supporting this theory.

I love/hate how she always says so much, but still so little at the same time lol.

Like, creating stages? Turkey diet?

Drop them DATES!

This explains everything omg wodjdhejej like girl, you can't do one thing for your loyal fans by putting the concert film on streaming? Like that's all we asked for but now we know what's holding her back. This has got to be about her concert demand. That artist in her is slowly getting eclipsed by the capitalist who only see profits margin!

Why is she like this? Why couldn't she just *hint* at a visual coming later? I mean, everyone else close to her basically has. But, if there are indeed no visuals, do you know how VOID I would feel once it was confirmed: we were indeed the visuals this entire time? Like, vinyl-breaking, tour book tearin' up, RWT merch doused in gasoline rage! Especially after this "three act" circus!:jonny4:

Ngl, I'm glad she didn't get nominated for anything at the CMAs. I know the album created a huge impact, but she paid it DUST. She had such a strong "moral dialogue" attached to the album yet treated it like the most unimportant album of her entire career. I've never seen her promote an album as AWFUL and as LITTLE as this one.

Shaboozey deserved to get nominated because he's been hustling with the music ALONE. Beyoncé has put more effort into her side businesses and not the album (which she has all the freedom too). But some of y'all can't act surprised about her not getting any noms. It's partially her fault. :deadbanana2:

This is exactly what she did to FORMATION, that was the first time I literally almost lost my mind with her. Formation was a #1 debut with EASE and she literally made the music video (which was all over the news lol) hidden on Youtube, like what the actual ****?

Good photoshoot (side eyeing the whiskey glass though) and interview. Really gives an insight into her thought process.

"The music needed space to breathe on its own. Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music. The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough."

So the visuals weren't a distraction from the quality of the the music for ST, Lemonade and BIK, but they are now? And what was the "I'm That Girl (Official Teaser)" if not a teaser for the visuals that were supposed to be released? Idk, it just seems like the visuals did not go as planned, she scrapped/postponed them and then came up with an artsy excuse after the fact.

"I had little boundaries, and said yes to everything. But I've paid my dues a hundred times over. I have worked harder than anyone I know. And now I work smarter. In the end, the biggest reward is personal joy."

She's mentioned this before, but she reiterated again that she has worked harder than anyone and paid her dues and now she "works smarter" aka what brings in the most profit. Hence all the commercials and her various business ventures and lack of performances, behind the scenes etc. for the fans. So no matter how much we complain or beg her, that's how she operates now.

I did not have Beyoncé announcing that she's a Smiler on my 2024 Bingo Card. Glad she didn't kiss Taylor's ass. Lmao she clearly don't care for her.

The visuals quote pissed me off so much ngl

I agree with visuals being a distraction to some extent. Lemonade had more impact because it premiered as a film, but I'd argue in some ways its actually was underappreciated as an album. It feels more like a film soundtrack standing alone because it's missing some of the context provided by the film. If the film is released (2-3 years from now) containing the same footage from the ITG trailer... What would the narrative be then?
