The Cure should have been submitted for Best Alternative Song where it would have less competition, and Stupid Song could have been submitted for Pop Solo. She should have also submitted What's Wrong With Me for Pop Duo/Collab. I get that Robert Smith is a rock icon but the song is very pop. Serena Joy could have gone to the rock categories. I'm also a little surprised she didn't submit for Best Album Cover.

The vendor issue is obviously being driven by a certain fanbase who are mad that their fave has become a music industry punchline in recent weeks. No major publications are reporting on it and I haven't seen much online chatter.
