  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Well they need to put her on the white radio because that radio won't get her the streams we need.

Their audience mostly listens to Hip Hop lol

Saw the movie yesterday. Absolutely loved. Thought it was a little long though, would've liked more BTS footage.

I went to see it again with friends that are casual fans. They liked it, but the length was their complaint as well. A nearly 3 hour runtime is a lot to ask of casual audiences and I suspect it's turning some people off from going at all.

Hopefully is does good numbers in Brazil. The film is just for stans/fans. She doesn’t perform hits the gp wants to see.

I was driving around doing some Sunday errands and passed by a movie theater. So I pulled over and LIED to myself that I just wanted to “see” if it was still playing, but I wasn’t gonna watch…

Am now seated about to watch the show again in Dolby Cinema. It’s giving addict ahsjsjjsj  :jonny5:

whilst music videos are typically used to promote a song/album/product, it doesn’t mean they can’t be made or released for the sake of creating art. not everything has to be linked with selling the product.

I’m not even saying it has to be linked to selling a product, just more like it’s pointless atp. She finished the tour, ended with a concert film, the album has already been out for almost two years. All signs point to the era ending. If she was going to release it randomly at some point for the sake of getting it out, I feel like she would have done so already.

Like the FWT film, would she release that in 2024 for the sake of creating art? No the era has come to an end and it would just not make sense.

Im not saying there’s no possibility because you never know with her, but all signs point to her closing out this era and she’s moving on.

The Renaissance era should end with 2023. We gotta let the visuals go and move forward at this point. Any release of the visuals in 2024 will be kinda weird. 2024 should be the launch of Act II. We now understand that her knee injury ruined a lot of her initial plans and it's okay. She is human and things happen.  I think there is a lot to learn from this era to improve upcoming eras.

I went at 8:10, we left so late, it was annoying lol.

I do wanna see it again.

Well she won’t be doing another visual movie since REN seems to be scrapped and I can’t see her putting that much effort into it again. So I can’t wait to see what she does next. Hopefully she keeps making videos though. REN deserved videos and big choreo.

Why is there no page long discussions about My House? We gave up on that song already?

TBH, My House is a victory lap after a successful album campaign, and my only requirement is that it makes it to the Hot 100 like Delresto.

Its' streams are remarkably steady, and my only thought on the issue is I wish "Be Alive" achieved the same stability when it was released.

The visual album idea should’ve been left in the past alongside the surprise album one. Lowkey every time she kept doing both concepts it just diluted the impact of ST. While Lemonade having a film made sense cause there’s a clear narrative throughout the album, I personally never thought Renaissance needed to be a visual album. Even when I imagine RENAISSANCE visuals in my head, I’m picturing unique concepts for each one.

Next era let’s keep it to MVs just for the singles.

Whether it comes to streaming later or no. I’m glad we are wrapping up this era. Love the music and it will remain on rotation but i admit i’m ready to move on from the messiness of the Rennie era.

Hilarious the way her visual albums went from a gift to a curse 😂😂😂

Hmm... I wouldn't trade Lemonade film or Black is King for videos just for the singles. :michael: The first one takes the whole album and era to completely new level and actually settles Bey as a visual narrator. In the second case, The Gift wouldn't have seen any more success or a proper era around it if it only had videos for 3-4 songs. Nobody really cared about the project and it's okay, we still got a great visual from it which was even better than the actual Lion King (2019) film.

Beyoncé’s visual albums are iconic let’s not
