Long post incoming…

Beyonce is a phenomenon. I’m in my 30’s and she’s the one, singular artist that can instantly transport me to my childhood and specific memories from that time; I vividly remember the summer The Writings On The Wall came out and being on our annual family vacation where my older female cousins were playing that album non stop. I can remember when No No No pt 2 came out and those same cousins played it over and over on our grandmas front stoop steps from a recorded tape that they waited for the radio to play that song. Beyonce is a part of so much of my growth as an adult. Her work ethic being a motivator to get me through college, it feels so silly to a

attribute that to an entertainer, but it’s true. This film felt like a culmination of so much, especially for long time fans like myself.

She been on. Couldn't have said it any better. :clap3:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Yeah it's so bizarre to me as well that she would be so unhappy with it to scrap the entire thing because the booklet (which we know is from the movie) is by far the best visual representation she's ever done for an album. The fashions, the looks, the sets, the lightning are all stunning and create a marvelous ambiance for the music that's on the record.

Call me delusional, but I still hope that the visuals combine Acts I and II, and will become the album release day promotion to push streams of the second album while stabilizing Act I on the charts.

One of those recent articles said B made "several films" during her hiatus/Covid-19.

- Renaissance Tour BTS

- The actual BTS of the songs/studio (That The-Dream, Leven Kali & Co., and Syd all alluded to footage existing)

- Long-form 1&2 Visual directed by Nadia Lee Cohen?

- Something different for 3?

Concerning was the bit in her narration about how "after this tour" she wants stability or serenity or whatever. Acts II and III scuttled, see y'all in 2031 for the Betty Black Farewell Tour.

I caught that too. I don't think she's going anywhere else for awhile.

Also I'm not gonna lie I accidentally got a little lit up on those speciality drinks last night. :deadbanana4: Never been drunk at a movie theater before so that's a first

I've seen some clips on Tik Tok... and it looks phenomenal :jonny2:

She kept the F5 on Crazy In Love thank God.

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is a tremendous look at one of the biggest concert experiences in recent memory, as well as what makes one of the most iconic singers of our time tick. In doing this, Beyoncé once again shows us her underrated skills as a director, which we’ve seen in projects like Lemonade, Black is King, and Homecoming, but on a whole other level here.

the Paper article is not an interview and contains zero tea :coffee2:

Thanks, saved me time

Okay at first I liked the second half of My House more but now the first half is my favorite, the WITCHCRAFT:jonny5:So powerful she knows how to grasp my attention with the power in her voice:jonny5:

I may need to see this again in dolby, there was something special about seeing her on the big screen and the music on that sound system WHEW

Absolutely hated My House on first listen. After sleeping on it and playing it in the car this morning, it kind of hit.

When fans begged for Beyoncé to release visual components to the album, her response was perfect: “You are the visual, baby.”

it was a cute blog post though

i can't decide which theater i want to go to

i didnt pre-order & all of the nearby AMC are almost sold out for the showtimes i want. the Cinemark theaters have more availability but idk if their XD is known for great sound or what those features are. then idk if i want to go to the hood theater where it will be more fun & dancing or do I want to go to another neighborhood where i'll probably be able to concentrate more since it will be my first time watching.
