I have one more controversial thing to say. I requested My House at the club after the movie and the dance floor EMPTIED. Maybe it's too ahead of its time a la flop Xtuna Aguilera, but people did not respond well

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I was going to write a long Fleahive review but idk what to say besides GO WATCH IT NOW!!!!!!!!! SO much better than Homecoming. LEAGUES AHEAD. I don't understand the complaining about the documentary part?? I thought it was so well done. She spoke with charisma (for once) and there were so many FUNNY MOMENTS. That's what her previous documentaries missed. I got teary for the Blue Ivy segment and Uncle Johnny. This was SO well done. I LOOOVE that she gave so much air time to production/crew/dancers. It gave me good insight on how it really was backstage. I had no idea the dancers could actually get close to Blue and talk and joke with her. It really seems like a new family was born with that tour. I continue to feel INSPIRED by her work. She reminds us she's human (she even showed a scene of her washing her face)!! I promise I thought she hired someone to do this for her. This film was INCREDIBLE and will 100% win any white washed award show she typically loses in. This film had the SPARK that all the other docs missed. truly incredible.

My audience was mostly bopping side to side but I wouldn't have minded people jumping around in circles like the swifties after attending the film in person it's not as cringe as I would'e thought. I personally wouldn't have done so because I forgot to put on deodorant and my pits were sweaty as hell in that hot ass theater. The audience was most hype for Energy probably and any time she asked the audience to "sang" back. Someone in the theater shouted "IKDR" when Beyonce said she's no longer a people pleaser and everyone cackled.

Oh and lastly I THINK I'M A VISUAL BABY!!! Idk idk I need to rewatch. But during my FAVORITE SONG it looked like the camera panned by me up close and MY HEART STOPPED I audibly GASPED loud in the theatre. I couldn't stop cheesing for a good five minutes straight. I NEED to confirm it's me before I get overly hype though.

I would never request a dj to play a 5 minute old beyonce song. Her songs always grow on me I hated My House at first. But it bumped in th theatre and I was suddenly shouting the lyrics in the car ride home.

IM CRYINGGGGGG :bibliahh:

She reaaaaally wants to drag this era if she's now planning on releasing the live album AFTER the movie run. :toofunny2:

I was ready to stream it all weekend long!! :cries:

the live album’s obviously coming, she’s not releasing a new song just for shits & giggles

as i said before it’ll probably come in like a month once the film’s done & she’ll add the interludes and ballads that were cut, that’s how Karen’s AMC deal works too

i don’t like the first part of My House, i really don’t need any more angry, rapyoncé in my life i think we got more than enough of that since lemonade :rip: it’s also too Homecomingish for Ren but i do love love the second part tho, it’s really good !

she basically told us we’re homeless now until Act II:suburban:

The song is so unhinged. Like the delivery was fire, but sis sounded livid and ready to fight throughout most of the track just to go on about spreading love at the end. :rip:

I wonder how the white men on her crew feel that were shown in the not believing in black women segment. The audience lost it when someone told her some type of equipment didn't exist and she was like "uh... I just found the equipment online it does exist"

i think it makes sense that a live album *might* come when/if she releases it on streaming. we could think of this weekend as the coachella livestream perhaps?

My House is obviously another Before I Let Go/Black Parade situation. She’ll add it at the end of whatever accompanying live album will be dropping. She is not missing a chance to further milk this damn tour especially if visuals are indeed never dropping.

she’s such a troll lmao how you make a whole tour and album centered around love, happiness, liberation and then angrily scream at people to get the **** out of your house :ahh:

i also LOVE the cover, i wouldn’t mind this being the live album cover at all

IMPORTANT QUESTION FOT THOSE SHO SAW THE FILM: AHAP has the added angelic vocals at the end? :WAP:

"keep up with her latest video releases" what’s there to keep up with ? :suburban:

MY HOUSE is only has TWO WRITERS AND PRODUCERS. BEYONCÉ AND THE DREAM EVERYBODY GET UP!! :jonnycat: Sample drags are over!

p.s. remember when the dream said BMS had a deeper meaning. I’m assuming she touched on this in the film but just didn’t bring it up during BMS the song. But I also remember he or some other producer said “suck on my balls PAUSE” during Sorry meant something deeper and they can’t wait to see it revealed lol

When you think she only starts talking/rapping at 0:37. :rip: :toofunny2:

My House is excellent. I love the fact that she doesn't give a f*ck anymore about anything else but the music. There's nothing else for her to prove anymore, she's just having fun and experimenting with different sounds and on top of that, the result is that she's delivering top-notch quality. :jonny6:

Wow ok I just got out of the movie: so much to discuss!

this is by far her best documentary. She gives us just enough of everything. Homecoming didn’t have enough bts, life is but a dream had not enough revel, this is like, the culmination of all of her concert films. The editing, the pacing, it all keeps you engaged. It was chilling finally hearing the studio mixes of these live arrangements. They’re incredible. Especially Cozy and Alien. The power outage part was so sickening.

my one major takeaway is how intentional everything in this movie is. While a lot of people had the misconception that this film was put together during the last few stops, every documentary segment tells a story that then ties back into the show. It’s very good storytelling and shows she set out to make this doc from the beginning of the tour. Which is pleasing to hear after not getting a tour film since OTR. We see her eating junk food and mothering her kids while telling her team she’s f*cking Beyoncé so why can’t you get the right camera lift if it exists. It’s amazing.

now getting into spoilery territory—

Spoiler

her knee! :( very interesting and transparent look into that injury and how it’s changed her career.

I’m pretty sure there was a sticky note that said “THERE WILL BE NO FILM, THE VISUAL IS IN MY HEAD.” and that….is troubling to me, especially because we see her recording the album in this but nothing about the videos other than that single shot.

interludes are cut for time but integrated somewhat well. Loop the Sample bangs in the cinema. Based on how the film was edited though the live album will probably include them in their entirety.

sad she didn’t utilize as many costume changes as I imagined. Silver loweve was paid dust. Nothing for the energy runway. Barely any for the OG I’m that girl fit. Mugler bee only. I’m not mad tho cause she used all the costumes from my shows. Just interesting!

um :biblio:

"I’m pretty sure there was a sticky note that said “THERE WILL BE NO FILM, THE VISUAL IS IN MY HEAD.”

i mean she most likely ignores the visuals in the film for a more dramatic / surprise element but yeah they are SO scrapped, er should all hang it up :rip:

I’m seeing it again tomorrow and will try to get a shot of it. I’m surprised no one has mentioned it :rip:

This moment looks and sounds so planned/rehearsed for the film, NGL. They throw in these nuggets for the audience because if it's a matter-of-fact documentary with no "drama," it would have been boring.
