The editing is too much at times and Bey obviously had a lot to say but it takess so much away from the concert experience. I feel like some of it should have been put on Netflix but the film should have been only the full concert.

The sound is crazy, you can feel it in your seat. I think the songs sound better than in the concert, but I also feel like they may have added extra instrumentation in some parts.

It was never going to be a full concert and this conversation has been exhausted, no shade btw.  It was clear what she wanted to do and it was not changing. Everyone i know that saw it loved it..

My cinema had good sound and there were a few very involving effects. Energy had a certain instrumentation panning left to right and back again, I was levitating, and Summer Renaissance starts from behind you at the back of the theater and expands to the front to surround you.

the way im just impatiently pacing around waiting for midnight (well midnight eastern so 11 here) to see if we get it

Maybe this is it. The sound is definitely slightly manipulated, I thought maybe they added instrumentation but didn’t think about the audio panning aspect. Certain songs definitely sound “fuller” or more immersive in the theater setting

The documentation and behind the scenes of the whole journey of this tour is what I wanted to see most so I’m glad and excited to see that aspect of the film

 

I won’t have any gripes of the transitioning between the bts footage and the concert as long as we get a live album, fingers crossed.

 

My House sounds so GOOD i need itwhoever said it was like AHAP is deaf as hell they heard her say the word goons and said “this is AHAP!” Like shut up

So so so good  did Dolby and the sound was so amazing. Felt some sound effects I didn’t even notice during my two shows. My only tiny gripe is some of the narrative beats of the BTS were slightly redundant but great to see nonetheless. My favorite Beyoncé film so far by miles 

Oh mother is filming with her PHONE and giving me a mukbang with the southern food, yeah I cannot wait to watch this

Last note, Blue lowkey stole the show. Her presence on screen got the most response from the audience at my showing. From Bey getting on her for being too boisterous with her opinion on the songs they were planning to cut, to Mathew saying those are the “Knowles genes” in relation to her response to the negative criticism and her pretending to be the fake “On Air” newscaster near the end.

I got all my roomates (4 of us in total) to go on Saturday. None of us have gone to one of her concerts before. So excited!!

Idk, I went to Taylor’s film and she did this. I can unequivocally say, it felt LONG. I appreciate the breaks even tho they slowed the energy, because it gave us the viewers something to chew on that we hadn’t seen before.

Her best film.  Hands down.
