Miley Cyrus teases new album
Early reports suggest Dolly was in the hospital since last week, so hopefully that means Miley and the family were able to say goodbye in time (and maybe also a sign that Miley would've - or has already and the early teasing will be longer than expected - pushed the campaign).

Dua Lipa covers September issue of Vogue Italia
she's kind of giving Beyoncé with how she can cover such a major publication on one of their key months with a nothing burger of an interview and seemingly for no reason but just for the love of serving and reminding people a major smash is always looming

Ellie Goulding is suing former managers Ben Mawson and Ed Millet of TaP Management. ︀
I really need the reason Dua left to leak

Who was the Mexican Madonna?
A good bit of Thalia's 2000s output is also vocally and sonically most similar to Britney as opposed to Madonna or others. Gloria's theatrics feel the most Gaga out of the bunch. I link Selena to Bey most as a performer - and we know Bey was a fan given the Houston connection and that time she ran into her at a mall. Career timelines and cultural differences make these types of comparisons impossible but still fun to think about

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
This ode to women being his worst song is giving National Women's Day being on the shortest day of the year

Perez Hilton self-harms and has mental breakdown on TikTok live, police at his house
Hope his kids are close with family members so they have someone to support them through this. Horrendous situation and hope they didn't have to see this.

Dua Lipa in the studio in Stockholm, tags producer Luka Kloser (Ari, Addison, Tate)
?? She had about 97 song/ideas written in her RO journal. Even if she didn't record demos for every single one, she was working on other stuff not just in that journal so she had to have still recorded minimum 75+ demos for the era. Less than DL1 and FN but let's not act like she didn't do a good bit of demo exploring like she has been doing with DL4

Slayyyter - "brand new chanel$"

Orville Peck - "Too Little, Too Late"
Is the main guiarse melody riff or whatever not As It Was anyway very cute
-
Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
she continues to really focus in on her vision for a project and do it well to the end. That said this album is definitely not for me and I'll probably never listen to it again

Slayyyter - "brand new chanel$"
Is this just a random instrumental under this or actually BNC's instrumental with BUC's slowed vocals
