I can’t seem to confirm it but I believe she was still editing the Lemonade visuals and still conceptualizing the tour when Formation dropped so that would explain why the tour might not have felt fully executed concept wise. 
 

Also apparently parts of it was filmed in the New Orleans superdome. Which she’s performing in Wednesday. The show I was supposed to go to l. But now can’t. 🙃

We saw her filming Pray You Catch Me weeks after Formation was released. And she also filmed in New Orleans around the SuperBowl.

 

About the tour, she wanted the show to be strongly political, but then she decided that people wanted to be there to have fun and changed it.

Anyone find it weird that most people could care less about Latoya, Latavia, Kelly, or Michelle as solo artists but the idea of a DC reunion sends them into orbit? Even a tiktoker I follow said he has never been to a Beyoncé concert but would be first in line for a DC tour. Is it the music…? Or just seeing them all together? All people gonna do is complain when it’s a Beyoncé and the girls concert. Latavia and Latoya have little to no solo lines unless Bey gives up her OG parts which we know won’t happen.

People got mad at me in the Celebria thread about Megan joining Bey on stage but did I lie? Nicki is the weirdest A list celebrity to ever exist. She’s forever bitter about somebody and Beyonce is not immune to those feelings. She’s just smarter about her shade to avoid backlash. Remember when she said something negative about demon time not long after savage? People say Say So remix final verse was a dig at Wendy Williams but it was timed so perfectly to be about Bey especially since her original verse got leaked, she had time to hear Savage remix, and then write a new verse in response to Beyonce rapping about having a real ass

That’s the picture I was talking about as well.  I was trying to find it but couldn’t find it online anymore.  If I’m not mistaken wasn’t it from a news report?  Lol I swear that pic was floating around and this isn’t a Mandela effect kinda thing lmao.

That’s exactly the pic I was talking about.  I’m sure someone else can find it.  I wonder if that could’ve been a possible opening number?  I always thought it would’ve been dope to open with PYCM from on top of the monolith and have her lowered down similar to the visual.
