so happy she put the vinyl gloves from Stockholm back on for the Mugler bee, the Loewe gloves worked a lot less :clap3:

I think she doesn't always have time to put on the vinyl/latex gloves. they probably leave it as the last step during her quick change and only commit to it if they have enough time, which they usually don't.

In Houston she took off the Loewe gloves for Thique/AUIYM/DiL, so they had to put new gloves on anyway.

The losers that ruin the mute for everybody are actually worse than the people that are reinforcing it. You have 3 hours to be loud and scream but can’t be quiet for 5 seconds? GTFOH
And it is people who weren’t even going hard before Energy. Like why are you screaming now?

just mentioned the shows that happened between May 10 till September 14, nothing in her post really indicated this being the end of the tour

i definitely doubt the tour is extending but it doesn’t really feel like it’s ending rn and if it there were really only two shows left we would know by now no? :deadbanana2:

I thought they mentioned the number of shows left? I could be wrong.

Ultimately I think we are being delusional and the tour is ending lol

So im 95% sure its ending cause there is literally no talk of extensing the tour anywhere.

However for her to make apparent changes to the tour 2-3 shows before its ending is quite weird. Sure, it could be for the potentiall tour film, but there is sth in me hoping for act 2 to be dropped this year and for her to tour act 2 next summer again, so basically a RWT PT2.

People intentionally being loud in that specific moment are crazy, but for others making noise because they are literally at a concert…like honestly, if you aren’t chronically online or attending with people who know about the challenge, and if you’re vibing with the music and not paying attention to the lyrics in track 5 of an album that hasn’t been promoted, why would you think to be quiet in that very moment? :coffee2:

Yes they actually gave us two!

ready for this tour to be over bc the mute challenge.....

lmao I was thinking the same thing earlier when I first saw the video of the guy getting hit. People have really taken this and ran and went way too far. It was never that serious.

I think the whole mute thing has validity on both sides.

-2 different people in my section yelled at everyone to shut the *** up before the concert started. First of all, WHO do you think you’re talking to? Idgaf what the challenge is I’m not going to have some random weirdos tell me to stfu. Had you said it nicely and in a joking manner then okay I get it.

-And then you have the annoying pick me people who PURPOSEFULLY scream to ruin it for everyone, it isn’t funny, you know it gets more fun and crazy if the crowd succeeds, why are you purposefully ruining the fun for everyone? People are blatantly doing it for attention right now and honestly I have no sympathy if they get clocked or smacked.

In conclusion, people are seriously lacking decorum on both sides, get it TOGETHER:gaycat5:

What do you think Beyoncé’s defining tour is?  Every artist has their defining tour - Janet Jackson’s “The Velvet Rope Tour,” Madonna’s “Blonde Ambition Tour,” Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous Tour,” which do you think is Beyoncé’s?

I’ve seen all her tours since Destiny’s Child and for the longest time FWT, was on top for me but after seeing Renaissance…I feel like that’s her defining tour.  What do you guys think?

Probably MCSWT. It was at the height of her fame and recognition as a performer. It also visited a lot of places, so naturally more people will associate her with it. One of her best shows too.

FWT is her best tour hands down and it could have been the defining tour of her career as she was still riding the cultural relevancy that started with the digital drop, but it just wasn't extensive enough. The lack of any professional recording available also didn't help cement its status.

I don't see much of a case for Renaissance tbh. It's probably just recency bias speaking for many. It's not her best show, not her most extensive tour, nor is she as culturally relevant as she was last decade, despite the considerably higher gross.

I agree with this tbh.

if they REALLY wanted the mute challenge to be a moment, they could have flashed "Look around everybody on mute" across the whole screen or something. that way people would actually pay attention.

and hey, Bey has a teleprompter for the whole show, why not give the fans (and locals) a little help? :fan:

I agree with the lack of professional footage cementing these tours as defining moments.  I will never understand why FWT was never released.  That was her first solo stadium tour and it was such a moment.  Especially with the monolith.  Out of all ppl, I would’ve expected her to release FWT as it was a great show but also for the sake of it being her first solo stadium tour.  That’s always a huge milestone for any artist.

that seems very likely but idk yet… it’s definitely weird

a lot of these are very subjective metrics.

I fully think RWT is her best show (maybe #2 to Beychella). it is certainly not as geographically extensive as the MCSWT, but more people have attended RWT already (as of August 24) than the entirety of MCSWT, so there's an argument to be made for RWT there.

and cultural relevancy is a relative experience. monoculture is dead, so we don't necessarily have to see music news about anyone we don't want to. but among music stars, how is Beyoncé less culturally relevant than 2013? especially when it comes to touring.

the crazy thing is, with FWT she became the first female artist in history to go on an all-stadium tour. so not just a huge milestone for her, for women everywhere. it's a shame we don't have a professional tour movie.

Absolutely not, people cheering at the wrong time (knowingly or not) will never be as irkesome as others aggressively screaming "shut the f*ck up!" or actually getting aggressive...

As for people cheering only at that moment, it's exactly the kind of response you get when an artist pauses in silence. Or like when she sits on Letwins or any moment, where the the music stops. Without knowing the challenge, you default reaction is to fill in the silence with cheers & acknowledge the "moment"

This is probably my biggest pet peeve about Bey. She is THE performer of a generation, if not of all time, but her iconic performances are not easily accessible. Every Lemonade performance should've been posted on her YouTube. FWT should have had an official release

FWT’s setlist was truly phenomenal :jonny5:

Crazy In Love Remix > Crazy In Love > Bootylicious > Naughty Girl > Party > Blow > Sweet Dreams

now that’s an ACT

SWARM behavior! She already said Houston won both nights and doesn’t know about this girl. Why keep this **** going?

Lol y’all wouldn’t believe what the hive has done in the past to ppl who disrespect Beyoncé. They used to order pizzas to the girlz houses, throw cds at them in the streets. There’s a reason they made swarm to begin with lol

I remember the artist St. Vincent standing the BET Freedom performance like 6months after it was performed and the video she linked to was a bootleg upload with filtered audio :ace:

Her whole management of Lemonade was peak ego and pretentiousness. Someone really tricked her into thinking it was somehow something deserving of respect

It is easily The Beyoncé Experience

that girl was annoying tho, hot cheetos in the morning energy.

people purposefully trying to ruin the challenge are more annoying than people just out of the loop. :biblio:

I’m pretty indifferent to how people react to the mute challenge. You can especially tell when people genuinely didn’t realize and just screamed out of instinct. However that girl was obnoxious with it and she knew what she was doing. She tried to ruin it for everyone. It still doesn’t mean she should be bullied over it.  It’s never that serious.

Fake news. That became Crazy In Love (1 min, no remix) > Naughty Girl > Party in half of the shows. Sweet Dreams only happened in the first show. :deadbanana:
