this was instant for me.

  

i feel like this was an intentional choice as the lead...the album will have enough time to explore all the current & new house sounds. but i think as an introductory piece coming from Beyonce...she wanted to start out paying homage to the genre with classic house sounds first which i feel is appropriate.

Everyone who doubted the track seeing the light repent!

First half listen, I was thinking it was purely for the dance audience but when I actually got to the rapping part and that little choir, it was done!

 

But I have to say I feel for the stans who don't feel the connection. It was me when RTW was released up until this day. I hope the second song will be your 1+1.

All of those subtle elements really add to it and make it feel more distinctly Beyoncé

3:09 onward is IMMACULATE. I still find the lyrics to be rudimentary and a little cringe (which is typical for care free house bops tho, so I guess I need to just let that critique go), but Frieda’s hype up is everything!!!

I let those haters get to me before the release. I was still at work and the sound was bad over there. I then plugged the song in my car and felt a whole another experience. I'm at home now and on my power speakers it's even better. The music video is definitely going to take that thing to whole new level. I think the video will come either tomorrow or Friday. 

 

Guys dont let the haters get to you anymore when it comes to Bey. Trust her. Never doubt our Queen. This album is going to take her back to worldwide glory!
