Her head voice is still there.

Can you feel the love tonight proves that, it’s definitely her choice

Im not sure why she refuses to use it more. It was heavenly in the intro to Already, in Love Drought and fits this genre of music perfectly.  I was expecting a hard house beat w Baby Boy vocals.  Bey is surrounded by yes men I fear.

Reminds me of when Mariah was doing the opposite and refusing to belt and JD had to sit her ass down and tell her. Thats why TEOM smashed.  Meanwhile, Jay Z and The Dream are cosigning this…style.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

The only thing I’m kind of perturbed by is how elementary the lyrics are. It kind of sounds like almost zero effort went into the core songwriting.

But it’s such a stark change in sound and design for her, that it’s not bothering me as much as it probably would have.

Just need the visual to bring it to LIFE.

The song is such a fun experience, I can't wait to hear it at the clubs this weekend. The sampling is immaculately well done, the production is a bit minimalistic but it works so well with the message and her vocals. I have a feeling she kept it simple and tame on purpose. She could've easily added some big vocals in that last minute over the choir, but I think she's saving it for the live performances.

I have a feeling the masterpiece will be completed with the video. The video is what will make it a SMASH HIT.

SALVATION.

FOUNDATION.

MOTIVATION.

I love the simple, bold and freeing statements and the way she delivers them. It does everything it should.

When she sang that “everybody” part in the end :jonny2: I was hoping there was more color in her voice through the song. Idk why she always makes her voice sound husky. It’s clearly stylistic because we’ve heard the light and airy Bey post-pregnancy. The runs though >>> the song is def a grower and the visuals will always come through that will make us switch like faggots :WAP:

I was waiting for you b*tch because your comment earlier had me on EDGE. How DARE you? What gave you the NERVE!?!?

Girl its a DEPARTURE, I am used to hearing Bey effortlessly slay a beat with minimal effort. This woman made Jumpin Jumpin and Countdown years apart.

The Spirit voice (my name for it) caught me off guard, I get it now and im guessing the video is gonna aim for a dance craze kind of thing, thats why it feels long.

Love it and hype for this album.

What if she has Standing On The Sun 2022 version as a bonus track :jonny5:, feel like it could fit sonically.
