the full Vogue FR interview has a quote from Beyoncé... the rest of it is an interview with Olivier :deadbanana2:

"Olivier is a dream partner and a creator in constant innovation and evolution. Everything he did as a black couturier to break and open doors was a source of inspiration. Since our very first meeting and with the creations he has made over the years for my shows and appearances, I knew that one day I would work with him on a collection. I am very proud of what we have created and the synergy that has been created between our teams."– Beyoncé

:ahh:

The way this quote was already used on Vogue's social posts when the pics came out.

Basically, the "feature" is just a way to announce the collab and share pics.

I imagine the MET Gala is the next big reveal. And even then, it could literally just be an appearance ahead of the tour.

At least we have the tour as the one definitive thing we can be sure is actually happening / upcoming.

I've been all for the stretching of the era, but can we just fast forward to Act II and Act II already!

What strategy are you referring to? Folklore and Evermore were very different from Lover.

Lover received 3 pre album songs and in total 4 singles+videos.

Folklore and Evermore were surprise drops and a first for Taylor which is why it worked. She did the bare minimal other than some curated playlists and accoustic recordings and eventually a Grammy performance, but the longevity those albums showed has everything to do with Taylor's power which isn't really reflected in anyone else. It's bolstered by her constantly releasing and celebrating her archive over the last 2 years. She went back to a more traditional schedule with Midnight's. So far 2 singles and 3 music videos. They'll probably be a final single at the end of the tour.

But I agree, I'm not worried about Rennie in the long term. Potential aside, it's doing solidly and further acts will probably strengthen Beys overall streams. For me it's easily been the most fruitful era simply because the way it's dominated my queer circle and actually had decent circulation in clubs.

Releasing them in quick succession, all three were released in a 1.5 year period.  Not saying that Beyonce will release all of hers within' 1.5 years, but I would assume it would be similar.

What an... era. :rip:

if it reads a bit too awkward it’s because the quote was in French in the article so I translated it

but yes giselle stays trolling. i’m curious though about the “she’ll attend the MET gala to promote her new album” rumors.

The fact that I though of ChatGPT too ff :toofunny3:

This is the best pop era by a Russian catfish bot I've yet experienced

The fact is, Renaissance could have been her resurgence. It really had the potential to be the most commercially successful (relative to the times) she’s ever had. It would have given her more clout and the hype for Act 2 would have been insane.

However, please know that Bey is very happy with how this era is going. All she’s hearing is that the album is all over tiktok and that people are creating their own visuals to the album. In her mind right now, she’s a marketing genius whose album has become part of the cultural zeitgeist. She is not looking at the sales or the streaming numbers, because she’s not as good of a business woman as she thinks she is (she’s not bad of course, but in her mind I’m almost certain she thinks she’s unparalleled). If she was a business genius, she’d understand how commercial success in her music career is directly related to financial prosperity in other eras.

How? :lmao: It's even insulting to these publications at this point. This is French Vogue! She's on the cover! :rip:

OK no interviews, that's OK. No videos, that's whatever . No performances, we lamented and are  making peace with it. But why not release singles at the very least? :lmao:

I really can't wait for my tour date. I'll finally turn the page on this "era".

Let me check back out. :toofunny3:

I think ACT II is too close for another Rennie single

if she manage to do these numbers

5 london Stadiums (+40M)

3 Los Angeles Stadiums (+40M)

3 Atlanta stadiums (+40M)

2 Chicago Stadiums (+35M)

2 New Jersey Stadiums (+35M)

I bet the Vogue France cover is supposed to be the "promo" for the tour, it's all were getting before then.

The constant relentless obsessive death grip she has on top-secrecy, the intentional press release-y doublespeak that all her communication has diminished to

Spoiler

"visuals at a later date" but you neglected to mention a different calendar year

"three-act project" but is it three albums or what sis just say it

appearing only as a disembodied heavily sedated voice at an official event for starved, confused stans

"The Renaissance begins" but nothing's happening and besides you let it end eight months ago

makes the art feel less like art and more like coldly calculated lab-engineered ploys for acclaim and prestige but that's just me. Her genius musicality speaks for itself and is evident all over this album but is consistently undermined by, well, the Beyoncé of it all. She drains the blood out of it. I hope she trips at the Met Gala just so Yvette can earn a day's pay scrambling to erase the gifs and memes from the internet.

A little over a month to the tour and I'm gagging tho so ignore me :celestial2:

I love Beyoncé the artist, always will and I'll keep on consuming the material aggressively 'til the end of time but my perception of her as a person has definitely changed.

This whole freakshow has been nothing other than a huge arrogance from her.

Her tour is sold out tho? I think that is the biggest indicator how successful you really are as a music artist.

Who cares if she would get 2 more billion streams on Spotify, how much money would that bring her anyway? $2 million?

First they said Act II was “re-recordings & covers”. Then, a “country” album. Now, a “political” album. They don’t know s***!

I have such a beef with the use of this account. It's literal FAN FICTION and yet people keep posting it. I don't get it. NOTHING ever happens from it and yet the girls keep resharing lol. I don't know whether to be impressed by bamboozleness of it all or annoyed that I log on for real tea and then it's...this. LMAO.

The tour is not sold out yet in North America. It probably will sell out once the tour footage starts spreading on social media but it’s not yet guaranteed. But the exposure from more popular music is always a good thing for other aspects of her career that bring in the real coin like touring, endorsements, brands like ivy park etc.

anyways when are the latin/asia/oceania/africa tour dates being announced?? Maybe after act ii?

The country rumor has legs because Variety reported it. I don't care about these nobodies pretending to be insiders.

I think cuff it look is coming in a music video tbh. Maybe after chloe’s album has a week or two
