She did her hits, y’all complain about everything, it wasn’t too long ago you wanted The Gift tour and now she did some and it’s being called boring.  She kept it cute.

my guess is because she is putting together the reneigh tour at the same time as she was preparing this performance, she didn’t have enough time to do different choreo arrangements and also didn’t want to spoil whatever is happening on tour, hence the set list being mostly ballads + the occasion kind of calls for it

 

i imagine there’s a lot going on behind the scenes she must be tired lol

This makes a lot of sense actually. Initially I thought she was performing some of the Rene tracks and didn’t want it to leak hence the tight security. Given what we’ve seen, it makes a lot more sense for her to just give a more relaxed vocal performance. Work smarter not harder. Imagine having to come up with two separate high energy performance so close to each other

On the topic of the Grammys, such is the appetite to see her perform, I think she could get away with doing another Be Alive at the Oscars. Aka some kind of over the top location setting that gives her a reason to pre-record and edit to her level of perfection. 

 

In a way, I live for the fact that she's so particular about her presentation. But I'm also ready to see her back on stage-stage.

hasn’t she kinda been done with it since OTRII/Global Citizens tho ? i don’t think we’ll get much less choreo for the tour, she probably just simplify some of the older songs’ dances and keep her energy for the renni songs

I mean OTRII/Global Citizen was same year as Beychella which had her DELIVERING in choeo. I can't remember that much choreo from Global Citizen, but OTRII's was kinda rough  She was def tired and overworked and it was showing during the routines. I remember the gifs OBHs used to make of the "Suck on my balls" part 

Beyoncé is still a dancer, but y’all heard her vocals at that show  That was her focus for the night
