but yes Grammys of course matter. you don't become the most nominated person (in fact, couple) in history by not caring. it requires strategic submissions each year. she was nominated for 9 Grammys in 2021 with no album or nothing, just "Black Parade" and "Savage" and Black is King visual. every Beyoncé project has won at least one Grammy so far, even her flop era of 4 got one for "Love on Top."

Curious why SZA's interpolation of Listen doesn't add the writing credits for the song to its credit?

 

Is there some law/rule about interpolating that allows one to not fully credit?

 

Or, is Beyoncé merely extra careful about her crediting that she'll do everyone possible if even interpolating?

To be fair, Bey hasn’t actually prioritized directing. I scrolled through the credits of her videography and was shocked to see that she’s never actually self-directed a video by herself, except for 7/11. And she’s not consistent in always co-directing videos (she didn’t do like 50% of BIK videos).

It's the second one. The Milkshake and Show Me Love samples were only there to avoid lawsuits with someone claiming those "lalalas" from Energy sound like some random song or the Break My Soul piano sounds like their own 90s house deep cut. Those are not actual samples.

People always leave out the fact she was heavily pregnant with twins and try to act like she was just devastated she lost.

its pre-emptive usually. if beyonce wanted the writing credit though her publisher could request it.

There is a historic theater in Paris, le Théâtre de la Renaissance. Bey sis, googler schmoogler. It’s small (650 seats) and plush and gilded and velvety. It looks like the limited edition album cover. I’d love if she did a short series of shows there or even just premiered the visuals there. A fan event, something you win tickets for. An apology for the interminable wait. A private show at a historic venue in Paris is real prestige, honey, real exclusivity.

It's likely she might do a lil show there in between the stadium dates in France, like Madonna did back in 2012 at L'Olympia.

I really would love if she did stadiums for Rennie, and some theaters for a different type of show with her "acoustic" album.  I would pay whatever to see her in a theater with an acoustic set

I still maintain that I Am Yours is her best live show. I would really love if she recorded/live streamed an original theatre concert. It would be great to see a show as well produced/sequenced as homecoming but stripped down

Beyoncé is ungrateful, fat and ashamed. She scrapped Renaissance visuals because she looks fugly in them. She is canceling the tour because she needs palliative care. She's not going on the Drew Barrymore show, stupid. She's not doing Carpool Karaoke. She's only selling jewelry to the ultra rich like Tiffany shoppers, when will she do a commercial for Claire's and FashionNova where her real fans shop??

The way she dropped the album and forgot about it right away. Maybe early dementia?

 

 

How many weeks are we in since the Trailer? 15 at this point? Maybe she wants to wait till 44 weeks passed? Which would mean we arent even halfway through this bigotry
