I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

@Mercurio now that the tour buzz is starting to increase again, can we expect an annoucement anytime soon or is it hard to predict?

I mean, The first time we heard about the tour and got some news was in august/september when the tour was supposed to be announced by that time. Now we are getting some tabloid news again…even with opening acts names. is it a good signal?

Mmm… there’s buzz in the news, but we still don’t have a date set in place, it’s all TBC. At this rate, it might not be happening in January. There are a few big announcements that were pushed back, so we’ll have to see about Bey’s tour since she’ll probably need the most space (2-3 weeks). Feb seems more likely, but we’re all just waiting for them to let us know that they’re ready again :eli:

2-3 weeks? Why so long?

If the tour’s doing well, they’ll add more dates dahlings:santa:

I had a dream she won 7/8 of her Grammy nods, only losing ROTY to Harry Styles.

Let's hope it comes true!!!!

I hope she gets electronic/dance album and r&b performance. Virgos groove deserves to be awarded.

@BnPac so assuming what you've heard about her not playing the Stade de France is true, then it's most likely they're looking at La Défense Arena.

A fairly new domed stadium but still vastly inferior and definitely not as iconic as the stade if you ask me. :coffee2:

Came across this gem today. Ugh, they sound so good together, yet Bey decides to torture us over and over with Jay

Expected outage tomorrow!

And that will be the day she releases the visuals, announces the tour, performs on GMA, and stops by Rachael Ray for a little chat

Well I don't think she's winning for "Be Alive" either, but we can pray for 7 :celestial5:

Interesting how US audiences rejected Cuff It compared to other places... Especially Anglo countries like UK/NZ/AUS where it was top 5...

Anyway, now that's it's peaked, can we get a final single, right before the Grammy's?

What would your pick be?

Spotify Streams:
Cuff It: 256M
BMS: 251M

Alien Superstar: 102M
Energy- 63M
Summer Renaissance- 51M
ITG- 51M
Cozy- 50M
Church Girl- 47M
Heated- 42M
Virgo's Groove- 41M
Plastic Off the Sofa- 39M
Pure/Honey- 37M
THIQUE- 36M
MOVE- 33M
AHAP- 29M
AIUYM- 26M

Of the album tracks Alien Superstar & Heated have had the most organic success. Summer Renaissance is still a solid option too though.

Honestly, I'd be here for the I Am split single approach with Alien/Heated and being sent to pop/Urban and then leading with which ever seems to taking off more.

At this point I'm more interested in exposing people to the music than chart peaks. People think alien is too bizzare for radio but it's good to be remembered for actually taking risks with singles too, especially now that we've had 2 radio hits.

The SZA/SOS slander …

I’ll never understand why Hive and Lambs notoriously put down other R&B girls. :lmao:

Slander where? All I said is that the album is long (23 songs is a lot) and that a lot of the songs are short. You're acting like I said the album was bad. Just because I gave a critique and I'm not kissing every artists ass doesn't mean I'm putting them down. And if I'm not mistaken, I've been extremely critical of Beyoncé this era as well.

Yeah, I think if true, the only option sadly is La Défense Arena. I can't imagine her skipping Paris altogether.

Yeah, let's release Alien Superstar and Heated, perform Virgo's Groove at the Grammy's and move on to the tour.

Rejected? As much as I love the charts this is where I'll never get in line with. Cuff It is definitely one of biggest hits regardless of the chart position.

I hate this song tbh.

" compared to other places"

Like Cuff It was able to spend notable time in top 10 streaming positions in other Anglo countries whilst it was sitting outside the top 30 for the US, despite a decent push. For this same reason it was top 5 in UK/AUS/NZ where Radio isn't a notable metric, it was all consumer driven behaviour...

I was talking about the comment after yours. :clownny:

Hm. I just saw updated predictions with HDD. Don't get me wrong, SZA's streaming units are insane. But she's predicted to only to 8k in pure sales and a little over 300k.

Those are clearly IT girl numbers. But there's also a trade off for a newer artist. I think Beyonce serves the best of both worlds. She is top 5 for pure sales and retains alot of her money by owning her masters. She would have went #1 in sales or streams for her tracking week. She also has over 1 billion in on demand streams in the U.S alone. Bey can always grow her catlog on streaming but a newer artist will never be able to capture the pure sales market if they never had that audience to begin with.
