Beyoncé

Seeing everyones reactions to Cuff it, from Youtube, TikTok, Instagram and in real life (work colleagues, friends and family) is so heart warming and I can only imagine how Bey must be feeling witnessing this. We've all said it but this is truely the sort of song that drives engagement from all demographics and if it takes off like it should, will help sell stadiums and albums for years to come.

Beyoncé is loved by everyone but claiming to be straight and spending time on a pop music Internet forum is just a hot ass mess

And she’s probably never doing an arena tour again lol it just makes no sense with the demand to see her

From artist point of view, yeah it's better to do a stadium tour. I mean,I would to. She has 3 kids and family; plus she barely did any promo for her album and you expect our lazy fav to do 100+ shows?

it’s also better from the Hive pov. stadium tour means less dates, less likely to cancel, more variety in ticket pricing, bigger production, more pit/standing tickets… if she did an arena residency like Harry she probably would go to less locations in the country, too, which means more money and time spent for attendees who don’t already live in those major cities.

this just makes me wonder what the future will look like for her. I just hope she never stoops to Madonna levels of desperation for relevancy & fame (I doubt she would—i think Renaissance era is making that clear). I could see her having an arena tour like Elton John is doing now, if she’s still touring in 15-20 years. honestly makes me sad to think about her retiring eventually, but i’d rather her quit than release her own “*****, i’m beyoncé” and Madame B. :dies:

Does this count towards streams/billboard hot 100?

no

No, but it's a direct influence on streams. Hence why we've seen huge jumps on Apple Music and Spotify globally over the past couple of weeks.

Beyoncé is known for performance so I think even if her record sales slowed down in 10 years she would still pull stadiums full of people so long as she could dance. And we know when she wants to be she’s a fitness queen and is probably gonna stay fit into her older years

Lmao the Melbourne event got cancelled so probably a phishing scam. Welp:rip:

I still don’t understand why her somewhat acknowledging cuff it was able to placate y’all. We still don’t know if it’s even going to be a single, if it will be sent to radio, when the visuals are coming, etc..  We haven’t made any progress. :ace:

It's so obvious the song will be getting a push now, whats the use in moaning? It may not be heavily promoted but its going to be given the chance to succeed hence her posting the challenges on IG (first time I've ever seen that feature) and updating her bio.  At some point you gotta adapt your expectations or you'll be forever miserable

The only thing official from Beyoncé herself has been her Instagram bio. So there’s that.

Is she coming to Ireland or not?

I highly doubt she's doing 6 dates in Germany :gaycat5: unless "Berlim" and "Hambourg" are new cities elsewhere I've never heard of :dies:

YES! That wasn't what you were saying a while back, so I'm so glad she's expanded her reach with this tour! It's about time! :duca:

Can’t wait to see those Aussie and African dates. The numbers are going to be crazy.

Hopefully she tours Asia as well.

It's been over a decade since she last toured in Japan, South Korea, China and The Philippines.

"CUFF IT" has previously peaked at #24 in Australia, so hopefully we'll get a new peak next week!

Now, this is really cool.

She always comes to where I'm at, but I WANT her to touch all corners this time. Brazil is a must, Asia too. Africa would be a slay as well (and not just SA). Beyond it only being fair at this point, the stan in me knows those regions especially will serve the "MJ fans fainting pandemonium" that is forever etched into the minds of the masses.

The "big superstar stadium world tour route" is pretty established from some of Bey's fellow peers recently. Harry notably doing all the "usual" NA/Europe spots but also making sure to do Australia+New Zealand and Gaga including a couple of Asian dates.  All relatively short runs, but covering the right ground that ensures they remain global.

Maybe Bey's route will be the usual NA/Euro + Aus/Asia and then festival spot dates in the Brazils and Africa. Rock in Rio 2023?

I might be being presumptive, but assuming she wants to wind down after this, it kinda makes sense to go all-in now which ensures she'll have global demand whenever she wants to play ball again.

Yes!

Good to know, she has been neglecting Australia, NZ, SA, Asia and Africa.

Sad for me but I get it.

Beyoncé is coming to Melboune for a promo show in February 1st at a casino

This is cancelled.

Will no doubt be called a dreamer (:cupid: @*-ChriZ-*), but I still feel she has something beyond the usual up her sleeve.

Sure, the remaining acts "could" be the visuals and tour. But assuming it's not and they really are new albums, there has to be a "something" to amplify + support each release.

I'm equal parts optimist and critical with Bey, but one area she has yet to disappoint me is her status as an envelope-pusher.

I say that to say, I could really see her doing something unique like a stadium tour for Ren, while also doing a Revel (residency?) of sorts to support one of the other acts. Almost like Bey's take on Gaga's dual setup in Vegas. One Pop show, one for her Jazz ish.

In Bey's case, one wouldn't canabalize the other given that the stadium thing caters to the mass demand, while a smaller more intimate run of shows is not only an easy sell, but would be in high demand.

A multi-tiered live activation, so to speak.

Assuming the coming weeks bring with it the visuals and tour announcement, there are several months on both ends (pre-tour and post) to fill. Spare me the moaning about the current situation. It's fairly logical that once things "start" that the wheels will keep spinning from there.

I hope she also tours India. She performed there in 2007 during TBE. I also remember some of the Indian hive being frustrated when she performed for that "richs people" wedding celebration but wasn't playing a show for her fans. Im sure she could sell out a stadium in Mumbai. Acts like Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber also performed there in the past few years.

Haha I mean id be more than happy if ur dreams would come too. It just doesnt seem realistic at all.

It takes Bey almost a year to set up a tour in a way shes happy about it, she cant possibly cook up another completely different set with a different vibe in between. I dont see this happening.

Shes for sure gonna tour, but she won't do what u dream about.

After 2 months sitting with Renaissance and listening to it multiple times per day, im ready to attempt my ranking of the songs:

1) Virgos Groove

2) Cuff It

3) Alien Superstar

4) Break My Soul

5) Pure/Honey

6) Heated

7) Plastic off the Sofa

8) Church Girl

9) Summer Renaissance

10) America Has a Problem

11) Cozy

12) Energy

13) Im That Girl

14) Thique

15) Move

16) All Up In Your Mind

My Top3 and Bottom 3 are pretty much Set, the middle part is lowkey ever changing depending on my mood.
