When I tell Haunted is without a doubt the most appreciated song amongst her nay sayers

Will it ever get its flowers?

Haunted is forever sitting pretty in her top 5 songs ever category.

I don’t ever get upset at her antics nor do I ever think she has a personal vendetta against us, that’s reaching a little bit too far into dramatics and you guys need to understand this parasocial relationship a little bit better:rip: for ALL celebs for that matter.

I love everything she represents and what she provides for us, and yes I HATE how she handles her career but I never feel like it’s “personal” against me:rip: you guys should really stop stanning and just become casual fans either you get the program or you don’t, and as a consumer you have the right to stop supporting her, if she wants to “flop” go ahead and let her, since she doesn’t cater to your desires anyway:cm:

She's beyond naive for this.

No matter how y'all spin it, Church Girl will flop just like Get Me Bodied flopped. It's too unique as a song in order to be fully appreciated by the GP.

The thing is that her stubbornness is counter-productive in the long run. As if her senseless strategy for Lemonade wasn't enough to affect her streaming stats and yet here we are again with a worse rollout, which honestly is rather pointless since she clearly cares for commercial success.

Naive? Ya’ll have it completely wrong if you think Beyoncé or her team are incompetent. They know what coulda shoulda woulda happen to get hits and maximize sales, Giselle doesn’t care and she choses the opposite. She likes Church Girl and wants it to be her second single. And that’s the bottom line. Damn a tik Tok trend and a viral movement.

Also GMB bodied is an Urban Club Classic and a go to at parties til this day. Not too much.

She's so loyal to Urban. Even back when Usher, Chris, Kelly all left for pop/edm she SPAMMED urban with her songs and now she's even bigger than them and is STILL feeding her radio core. She is a genius and her music will be spun for decades to come because of it. Sis thinks she's still 27 so let her twerk, cause controversy and have fun

This beyoncé doesn’t care about success narrative really needs to stop. It’s not true at all. She cares and she cares A LOT

She sent Summer Renaissance to radio too and nothing happened. Same thing will happen to Church Girl.

This is the same woman/team who put off the streaming release of Lemonade for YEARS, sent Pretty Hurts to Urban, never sent Love On Top to Pop, etc. So yes, I don't trust them.

The point is that Cuff It is globally rising by itself. The GP is simply into that song, period. Do you really think Church Girl would effortlessly replicate the same situation with a simple Tik Tok trend when even Energy is currently outstreaming it? :skull:

Her decisions make no sense for someone who cares about success.

Urban will love Cuff it, I hate this thinking in 2022. Stop playing into “ Will urban like this or that” and just release one single.

Church Noise is guaranteed to take the spot of an actual worthy Renaissance track on tour and that’s my issue. :foxaylove2:

Wait. Mine is saying it’s coming next week. I guess some of the vinyls are ready and the shipping will be staggered. This is a mess. Once again, more lack of coordination from parkwood :deadbanana2:

No.....

What a mess

Like I can't believe how big of a mess this ERA is :lmao:

Thank god it's her magnum opus

I need a break from the base. The Church Girl news really impacted me.

She had 2 months to send another song to radio, and she waited until right when Cuff It goes viral to do this. It all seems purposeful. I just dont understand.

Everyone was joking about how Bey would do something left field like this. Even after proving us right it still feels infuriating.

Beyoncé has achieved her dream. To have longevity, be respected for her art, put her artistic choices before commercial choices, and lay back with her family, versus trying to find places to be to promote her music.

It’s so obvious, she told us all along she would be like this, and even now many of us won’t except it.  We should stop trying to make sense of it from a ‘what will give her the most success’ standpoint. She does not care. She has 12 #1 singles, 7 consecutive #1 studio albums, Over hundred million sold, all the praise and adoration, oh, and she is a billionaire. If she flops she’s literally cool wit it.

I believe that if Beyoncé literally starts flopping back to back to back, nothing will change. Ever. She’d be like Ciara releasing album after album to crickets and be smiling and dancing on Yachts with the kids and the hubby. Living a 1%-er happily married life. Ciara good. Same way, Beyoncé would be good.

This her model now. The Matthew days were done with him. He wouldn’t let her stop working, he put her everywhere she could be, and influenced her effort to pick commercially viable music and release commercially viable singles. In addition to some personal mess, that’s why she don’t work with him no more.

She is literally living her dream. A living legend. Gets to put out albums then disappears and still makes millions. She’s a billionaire, and she’s alright with keeping things where they are.  Get into Beyoncé’s mind.  She has it all and she worked for it and paid her dues to sit the eff down so that the only thing she has to do is make and release music she loves, tour when necessary and live her life.

I get it.

Beyoncé seems to be seeking validation and admiration from celebs and the fans are an after thought. Actually she doesn’t seem to care about the fans.

From the ivy park celeb gifts to the specially signed vinyls to celebs. It’s so weird.

Like girl, they still ain’t going to vote for you at the Grammys.

Celebrities post what she sends. Between all the people she sends stuff to there are hundreds of millions of people following them on social media. It's not a GRAMMYS campaign, it's free promo. It's that simple.

Free promo is the countless of videos fans are making to your music and you still haven’t even acknowledge an album or sending songs to radio.

Vinyls to celebs isn’t doing anything for anyone. Are the celebs giving out release dates or something?

What’s frustrating to me is I can’t tell if she cares or doesn’t care about success, it isn’t as clear as it seems.:rip: If she didn’t care about success she wouldn’t have even bothered with putting church girl on radio or making a visual film, and if she does care why does she insist on “promoting” in the most nonsensical ways?:deadbanana4: I know she wants to break molds and do the unexpected but what does she gain from that, I just don’t understand the end goal.

It’s just tiresome to even try to make sense of it, I’m just gonna give up and see what happens.

Ch we still arguing about this woman and her already released music :gaycat5: I'm  ready for Act II and Im not buying nothing  else until Act III :giraffe: no more blind purchases from me :nicole:

Right. The only promo that has been working so far is fans making Alien and Cuff It viral on social media. None of her celeb friends did that. Also what is the point of a free promo for a vinyl that no one can buy anymore :rip:

That’s the point, you’re quoting and giving me stats. Giselle doesn’t care. So what if CUFF IT is trending globally and an obvious choice for a single, she is releasing Church Girl to radio cause that’s what she wants them to focus on.

I don’t disagree with anyone here about her not making good choices for success, nor am I saying I agree with how Beyoncé is handling this era. I’m just stating the obvious about Giselle. Lol.

GISELLE that’s sis alter ego. Giselle doesn’t promote. Giselle picks the “wrong” singles. Beyoncé been out the game.:celestial2:

It’s actually not hard to understand IMO. Sis does just enough! Example: She created mass hype by her blanked  profile pic and stopped the world. She gave us a caption to explain her intentions with the music. She teased mysterious box sets, to make us curious. For her that was all the effort she felt like expensing. And it worked. Lol.

She recorded her best album. She loves to make art and visuals to represent the work. All she has done is make her work and release it (Not yet the visuals). In the end she won. Everybody loves the album, it was #1. That’s good enough for her.

We be thinking “Oh, if only she did this or that what could the success be? In her mind she is already satisfied with the results and is cool with doing whatever.

Edited by Space&Time

No, she could be satisfied with the results and still send the right singles to radio lol. Like it’s not hard to just be like oh wow look at cuff it becoming another single ladies type smash, send it radio.

It makes no sense and y’all make no sense defending it.
