Oop I missed the actual tea, tbh if its only being confirmed for Rhythmic then it probably means a 2 single strategy which I'm fine with. Especially with the era is going to be cut short by Act II. And everywhere outside the US will get the pop single (Cuff It). Even still Church Girl is probably a waste and Heated is the obvious Urban smash with global potential. The fact Cozy/Energy are sitting above it in popularity on Spotify ...

This but she doesn't need remixes. Also I would have reversed Cuff It & Alien's placments so the promotional material for the album follow a trajectory from dance, into pop and then RnB

I agree with the poster about something to the transition from BMS to Chuch Girl and I believe the choice likely has artistic merit.

 

Still needs to send Cuff It to POP radio pronto regardless.

Going by the album Church Girl sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesn't transition from or to anything like most of the other songs. If this was her intention then Alien Superstar or Cuff It should've been the lead single and eventually worked her way to BMS.

Honestly stans on here and twitter are not the majority of her audience. Hence why the entire Gift album barely earned more streams during its release day, then individual songs from Rennaisance during its launch. That's what happens when this "annoyed" and "bored" demographic drive an albums sales. Her actual fanbase that supports her mainstream success are not checking for updates everyday, they're living their lives

They also dont care about singles. People who grew up with Beyoncé should also be over this basic ''send such single to pop'' formula but they seem to want to hold on to it with dear life to gloat on forums like this one. Rather ridiculous at this point. If i must repeat myself i  will, go stan another artist if you want things to remain like they were years ago because Beyoncé is clearly over that crap and has been for a while. She sent Church girl to radio to send a message ONCE AGAIN that fans dont run her career choices and she is over your expectations.

You hit the nail on the head. It’s a defence mechanism.

 

We saw how happy she was after ST dropped and seeing how successful it was. She said she was pacing around mindlessly just before it dropped because she was so nervous. 

 

She is an artist and one of the greatest out there. But she has allowed her fear of failure to sabotage her own success in recent years. 

 

She has transitioned well to an albums artist of the highest calibre. But when you start doing things to hamper your own stats and success, there’s obviously something  that is going on psychologically. I don’t know of any other artist that does this. 

And after it was a success what did she say in the song following the era:

Change the game with the digital drop

you know where you was when that digital popped

I stopped the world

Male or female, it make no difference, I stop the world

World Stop....

 

The same thing happened with Formation and Lemonade. She hid the video from the world even after performing it in front of over 100 million people and didn't put the song up for sale immediately. Lemonade ended up being a success and she substituted Lemonade for Digital in the lyrics above.

 

This how we know she care about success despite what said in that documentary.

miss jane you have lost it   And she cares about singles, she was just celebrating when BMS hit #1 and every time one of her celebrity friends go #1, she sends them flowers.

She's beyond naive for this. 

 

No matter how y'all spin it, Church Girl will flop just like Get Me Bodied flopped. It's too unique as a song in order to be fully appreciated by the GP. 

 

The thing is that her stubbornness is counter-productive in the long run. As if her senseless strategy for Lemonade wasn't enough to affect her streaming stats and yet here we are again with a worse rollout, which honestly is rather pointless since she clearly cares for commercial success. 

the only thing that will save this era is the rihleases of acts ii and iii when they're equally as good/better bodies of work  i have to maintain some hope in order to survive

Alien Superstar is the Haunted of Renaissance. 

 

No wonder it received all that buzz from the GP.

The longevity of this album and its overall long-term success will be hugely impacted by this decision which is very sad considering it deserves to go down as one of her best selling and most successful eras.
