This is one of the most frustrating times I've experienced as a Bey stan...I never thought we would be waiting for visuals, she keeps us on our toes 

 

I might get dragged for this, but I really hope these visuals have Bey smiling and silly. I feel since LEM, she has looked serious in most of her visuals- even in the tiffany ad/visual teaser it's all straight face.

I totally get being disappointed - I am, too, a bit. But this isn't a friend or family member. It's a pop star... if you're not enjoying it anymore, it's okay to walk away. Because she isn't going to change. She's made it abundantly clear over and over.

She sounds stupid as hell tbh. Cause there is no art or film currently. The music is good. But it's not enough if you literally don't do anything with it. She is not Sade or Prince. Even they have interviews honey. 

 

Only thing I can say is that she put the music on streaming. And since that doesn't pay much I guess she's not concerned with a single or any type of longevity here.

 

So yeah... I might not do the tour this era. And it's not like I don't respect her privacy. But this isn't the time to retreat after 6 years. I'm mostly turned off that she seems to want to market this album to the industry and not the fans who have kept her here.  I don't know what she was thinking by having the paparazzi at that tacky party.

There was absolutely no way to avoid the paparazzi when you invite the Kardashians and some of those B/C-Listers  She didn't "have" them there, they were tipped off.

Prince released an abundance of music though, you might even say he over-released. And while Sade did exactly the opposite, whenever she did come back she came back fully with videos and performances and interviews.

she has done the fanservice hardcore from late 90s into early 2010's... over a decade of her hitting up award shows, radio shows, late night, daytime tv, interviews on Ellen, Oprah, Tyra... now come on now. we even got an award show performance this year. (I still watch it at least weekly.)

 

I think having literally one more full teaser for this "film" would shut up half of us, having one music video in its entirety would shut up most of us. it's the putting out nothing over a month after the teaser that's sending us down into a spiral.

Imagine if MJ had released Thriller and left it to die… no one would be talking about it 40 years later. 
All her best albums (ST, Lemonade and Renaissance) will be forgotten. Of course she will always have her stans but the GP has already moved on (well they are probably unaware that she has been dropping masterpieces)
