It's really **** that the industry gets not 1, but two parties and I'm sure her album had plenty of promo and references for this recent one.

It's just out of touch. Then these same people won't vote when she submits to be put on the ballot for awards season.

Nah, I was literally thinking about this and I get it now. If we are annoyed, imagine being Grammy or Emmy voters and you constantly see Bey on the ballad but she's never in the room, never at the parties, doesn't invite you to hers, etc. 

 

Why would they vote for her? Especially when you consider the people like Taylor/Gaga or Lizzo or are likely networking and actually embracing people around them, making them laugh, etc. You know, the industry stuff, and let me be clear, Bey doesnt HAVE to do that, but she also cannot expect to win these awards with no campaign. 

 

The older I get, the more flaws I see, it's bittersweet too.

The GP/fans did get those official Club Renaissance parties during album release week (none in the US though if I recall) and we can’t really blame her for having a birthday party and private album release party (which she also did for ST). But yeah it would’ve been cool to get some BTS or some sort of fan engagement from her post-release so it doesn’t feel so distant from her.

A song that is top 10, climbed quickly and was still receiving steady positive updates doesn't suddenly start receiving massive negative updates across all/most formats simultaneously. It just doesn't work like that.

This era is a hot mess 

Why work so hard on an album only to treat it like it doesn't exist? At first it seems cool but this silence is getting annoying. Not sure what to expect as a fan. Couldn't even hear her song on the radio cuz she refuse to send them. Couldn't watch her videos cuz there are none. No televised performance/interview to look forward.   like what is there to look forward to other than streaming the same album 24/7? I won't and never spent money on IVYPARK if that's how she treated her fans. If really she hates commercial success that much; or refuse to do any musical related thing, just announce a retirement already. We get it she's been singing she was 9.

Girl this is totally unreasonable. You have an album that's not even 2 months old and you haven't said a damn word about it. It's not cute or funny.

 

How far are yall willing to go with excusing her antics? At this point yall have absolved this lady of doing the bare minimum during an album release. On top of the album release itself being messy and leaking the way it did. She gave a teaser with no date over a month ago.

 

This is a disaster. You don't release an album  with an initial press run about how you miss the fans and you're doing the spectacular album launch. But all you've done was throw parties celebrating with your celebrity peers, create 4 tik toks and push album boxes and IVP.

No one is expecting Bey to pull a Nicki. She is not our friend.  But at this point the relationship as a fan isn't beneficial if she's not going to push her music through videos or performances.

 

It's rude and an overdepdence on Hive to push her. I can honestly say other girls do a better job of catering to their fanbase. It doesn't have to be extra. Just something.

 

Beys husband does a better job at interacting and he is not to blame for these antics at all. He did way more with 444 and many of us hated it cause it allowed him to reveal more than what Beys album did and made her look weak. I would have probably voted for him before Bey during the Oscars if I was in the voting pool for BOS. BIllie next. Lol
