Lol I went to Giselle's Instagram to see that album's leak's post, that's not how I interpreted it when I read it.

Anyway I was struck by something :  Giselle-playing-Instagram-model's posts have OK likes,  nothing crazy but her posts related to music have a lot of likes. The teaser has 14M likes. I guess the public has spoken!  Music Giselle it is! Then again it might be because they're so rare.

Prime Video does make sense since Amazon Italy leaked that this was a three album arc but I hope it’s not the case

The teaser only has 2.4M likes. Her most-liked pic related to RENAISSANCE is the album cover, which has 4.5M likes.

 

For comparison, her Ivy Park pics w/ Rumi and Blue have 7.3M likes, her Oscars after party look has 6.2M likes, and her pics from Jay’s birthday last December have 5M likes.

My impatience is more so about the BMS video still not being out and no news about a second single. The single came out in June and now they are talking about full visuals in September and maybe more physicals in October?

Crissle’s take on POTS is such trash. I actually find it really weird how pressed she seems to be that Beyoncé is into men. This whole album review all she keeps doing is circling back to her fantasy of Bey wearing a str*p on and eating box. And to have the audacity to then say Virgos groove is just “slightly more palatable” than POTS, I mean, girl seek (better)help.

She didn’t like Sandcastles or LOVEHAPPY either. I don’t think she cares about Beyoncé’s sexuality, she just doesn’t like love songs. I’ve heard twice in the past week that some haven’t warmed up to Renaissance because they don’t like happy joyful Beyoncé ??‍♂️

The demonic stuff was always nonsense but the joyful stuff surprised me. My bff used to tell me Beyoncé was too serious post-B’day so when she said Renaissance was too happy, I was like  she’s also miserably pregnant so I told her that her baby is siphoning her taste.

She probably has no time to do anything because she is trying to get the videos right. 
 

I don’t know what she was thinking tbh. BMS should’ve been out by now. It’s not like her to not have all these things planned out before a release. 
 

Hopefully act 2 has a video for the first single then she can do what she wants. 

They can try to pretend that the release of the visuals has been some well thought out marketing genius and that every minute detail has been planned out months in advance. 

 

But it’s very clear to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together that the visuals weren’t ready, that everything released so far has been done on a whim (the visualisers for example), that there is no coordinated and strategic brilliance at play, and that they have made a complete mess of what could have been a truly legendary campaign. 

 

It’s not smart or clever to not have the visuals for the lead single months after its release, especially when said artist has established herself as very much a visual artist. She did that herself, not us! So now that we come to expect that from her, she pulls it away from us. All that has done is left me feeling quite empty this era… just an unfulfilling feeling. The music is obviously amazing, but without the accompanying visuals, it’s just never really felt like a proper era to me. The saddest part is, I doubt I’ll even care all that much by the time the visuals are released, so I don’t suspect the GP are going to care. It’s such bad marketing lol  Like, really bad. And I’m sorry, Beyoncé as the owner of Parkwood has to take the responsibility for that as I’m sure she makes all the final decisions.

 

I have no idea how the tour setlist is going happen with this new music. 

 

Sis should just hit us with the oldies then pull a Beyonce Experience and give us a full Renaissance Medley than an epic encore with  Break MySoul.
