yeah i'm gonna need Adele's team to lean towards "streaming" more to keep this album afloat. i hope the numbers stabilize during this xmas season till OMG MV gets released (hopefully in Jan) at least. the pure numbers look solid though.

And yes that's how it should be  I find that hiding behind a successfull artist to come for another successfull artist just because your own fave is not up to par is way more childish and embarrassing but to each their own ig

But my main point was more about the promo BEFORE album release.. you literally listed things like '''album/tracklist reaveal, preorder and social media hype'' as promo.. she literally didnt do anything else before album release and Adele obviously did those things aswell
Adele also did things like the 72 questions interview, had her album title on every billboard all over the world, OPRAH WINFREY interview, Apple Music interview with Zane Low and some more stuff... point is both promoted their albums, so lets not pretend Adele didnt do anything

Fair enough...I admitted I might be outdated in my thoughts. It used to be the benefit of Black Friday sales was a nice like 20-30 if not 50% if promoted thoroughly that week boost for established albums and if you released the week before the 2nd week would soften a bit because more copies purchased based on discounted albums.

Taylor and Adele both did minimum promo their first release week at would say, in the USA. The special aired the week before and the viral moment was make you feel my love not a new song.
