It's funny too because I love pop... maybe not sugary It just is even missing the authenticity of Midnights for me. Exactly... though I'm having a tree moment and suddenly the album is hitting insanely hard... so maybe I lied?

TTPD just felt so raw. Like it has some issues for me but it was just SO like visceral... you just felt it. Maybe we're just not happy enough for this album. And I'm the same it was Lover. I'm hoping it'll grow on me!!! But like...

As a Taylor stan, The first 3 songs are so excellent for me that I have no urge to move past them to be honest. The rest of the album... I'm not sure. I think I'm just not used to like this happiness from her. There are no bad songs, the only one I'm eh on is the title track. But this isn't like screaming to be heard to me in the way that TTPD was for example. It just feels weird for her release to leave me feeling a little... confused ? I'm not trying to be negative, because it certainly is a good album. Idk. Anyone relate ? On the other hand, the first 3 songs are discography highlights so I'm so thankful we got them!
