  1. The deluxe added sooo many shitty/filler songs The standard album is so good and concise. However, Lost Yo Mind/Creole/Back Up are all excellent and fit the album's vibe so well
  2. This already happened with Something Beautiful though
  3. No. I remember when she teased the idea of just going by 'Miley' at the start of the Bangerz era because she felt like a new artist and wanted to emphasize the separation between her old and new music career. It would've made much more sense back then, not now when she's 20+ years into being known as Miley Cyrus and isn't trying to distance herself from anything
  4. Definitely not... GUTS was sooo much better.
  5. The Selena Gomez & the Scene karaoke album
  6. The disconnect between those streaming stats and its chart performance is actually wild.
  7. So you agree, thanks queen
  8. My face when I realized Miley was 7 when Xtina scored her last solo #1 (which is doing 36k daily streams btw)
  9. Calling Britney/JT/Xtina 'ex acts' just to be able to drag 1999 stats into a newer generation comparison is so transparent They are obviously not ex acts in remotely in the same way. They appeared as ensemble cast on some random forgotten variety show, and had nowhere near the same 'kids' TV star transitions into a pop music career' framing as Miley/Selena/Demi's generation did.
  10. when you put it like that, that's an absolutely INSANE fall-off. even britney charting more weeks with zero albums released this decade is absurd
  11. because she's annoyingly contrarian and is dead set on squandering all the brat hype and goodwill
  12. It's always been a bland and mediocre album. Now that we're several years removed from the hype, we're seeing evidence of that. There's almost nothing to go back to
  13. So many of the songs on Rihanna's first two albums. I want to love them for quirky y2k reasons but it's impossible
  14. All of them nowadays. Every album cover now is just a random photoshoot pic/glamour shot with no text, it's boring as hell
  15. cute song but some of the production/vocals are overproduced and grating, which is true for the album as a whole as well miley will always be my #1 fave but the album was a swing and a miss, and the critics and GP agreed. super confident that she'll be able to bounce back though
  16. Wow, it's honestly Gaga which feels insane to type ARTPOP and Joanne bring her average down SOOO hard, literally only Rihanna's mixtapes are worse out of this group, and even those have better highlights
  17. Every single one since 2018 being a random one-weeker that no one remembers
  18. Half the album is a skip/snoozefest, too many ballads tbh Love Jealousy, Jealousy, Deja Vu, and Brutal though
  19. I've always felt like this song/interlude (?) was meant to be placed before Glamorous on the tracklist. At the very end, it has the same dispatch radio/walkie talkie sound that Glamorous immediately starts with.
  20. I came for
  21. Ugh that second pic would've been SO good as the album cover
  22. Expecting Madonna to sound normal on a new song in 2026
  23. This song is SO boring omg
