The inherently right wing thing here is: Keeping inmigrants operating in black economy, with their employees not paying taxes. The 500k are already here, living in marginality in many cases and being exploited by unscrupulous people (specially in farming works).

Yes I'm spanish (Canary Island, cuban Family). I'm not denying racism in spain, I'm denying racism has affected Shakira and/or racism having anything to do with the animosity people in spain has agains her. There is racism against latam people in spain, it was worse in the 80s. There is racism against arab people, and even against other European countries like Romania. In Spain, like almost every country with people with eyes in the face, shakira is considered white. Again, for many years, Shakira was well beloved here, specially between catalan people. She even launched a cover in catalan of the song Boig per tu, and it was a hit (a local hit, but it was). She never had absolutely any issue with anything that could be considered racism. She was as privileged as a rich famous woman could be UNTIL she was discovered trying to evade more than 14 million euros, and then started talking **** about Spain and Cat. She doesn't feel safer in the us because they are less racists (LOL), she feel safer because she feels more privileged there as a billionaire.
