  1. I was actually thinking of Katy
  2. She's a respected icon for sure but she hasn't had a hit since 1987 so it was pretty surprising to me! The Rolling Stones are in the same boat and are still a stadium act, but they had a decade of hits before the 80s too.
  3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girls_Just_Wanna_Have_Fun_Farewell_Tour#Tour_dates Here's a clip showing a sold out arena in London For context, she was 71 years old in 2024 Do you think the modern Cyndi Lauper would be able to achieve such a feat at this age?
  4. Yes, I'm surprised she didn't do this. It would have been a good replacement for Read My Lips. It's not too late!
  5. Beyonce is the only real technical vocalist mentioned in this thread (Gaga isn't bad though), but I think her vocal skills were underrated back then.
  6. And we're pulling an Xtina and adding Popular for the 2020s
  7. The only reason this song has charted is because of playlisting. It failed to chart on Spotify until it was added to TTH. The fact it was added to TTH 2 days after failing to chart on the WW top 200 is fraudulent in itself. I'm pretty sure it has fallen off now too.
  8. Legend X: 90s - Genie 00s - Beautiful 10s - Moves Like Jagger, Say Something, Feel This Moment
  9. As a OTH, sadly, I think she will do fine and rebound successfully next era.
  10. Britney's global numbers are concerning.
  11. Simple - Xtina gets streams from all around the world! Janet is a local artist and her numbers all around are inferior to her peers.
  12. No I always thought this was a Jiafei original
