so you hated it too, huh. wild how for the last 10 years it's always about anything BUT the music with gaga fans - the acclaim, the awards, the oscars, the sales. never just... is the album good.

go listen to Harlequin and please come back to share your thoughts on the quality of that record

dragging an artist for a dip into her 42 year run (most of which was a slay, and had actual cultural impact to the point that it birthed certain copycat singers), while your fave was already underperforming by year 5, isn't the flex you think it is. who cares if mayhem sold more if the music is genuinely terrible

Madonna's collab felt natural; Gaga's did not. Do you agree?
yeah right it was a huge success for her - that's why the campaign abruptly ended after multiple attempts to launch a proper second single, she immediately pivoted to making anything else but her signature dance pop for the next 7 years, stopped mentioning the album immediately after the era ended, and had to distance herself from her Artpop persona by making a sloppy country-flavoured record! album of the millennium right right

I love how with LMs critical acclaim doesn't matter if it's her flop albums (see ARTPOP, Joanne & etc.), but the second she gets a gram of it - it's super important and obviously reflects the quality of her music. never change little monsters

Madonna's collab felt natural; Gaga's did not. Do you agree?
no, it's much simpler - she just started making bad music, revealed herself as a massive hypocrite, and turned into a balloon-headed poser with zero substance besides the aesthetic - an aesthetic she didn't even build, since actual talented people did that for her. now she's just self parodying for the last 2 albums. but I like your theory!

I am actually an ex LM so 'throwback artist' & 'sonically irrelevant' actually tracks

madonna is not my fave btw but if gaga's chart achievements help you gaslight yourself into thinking her musical output for the last 15 years was any good - I'm happy for you
