The brighter days ahead tracks are as good if not better than the best tracks on the standard album. The encore is such a nothing release, so BDA.

The MAGA adjacent lady could never

The Encore has managed (miraculously) to somewhat salvage the Showgirl era.

But Brighter Days took an already excellent album and just added more greatness… it's gotta be that.

Both are atrocious, compared with their far superior earlier works.

But I kinda get it…

You can only make so many sure fire bops and hooky melodies before the idea well starts to run dry. I think these women get back with Max to keep the Pop Hey Day dream alive. they prob feel both honored and privileged they get to work with him and expect to create magic together… meanwhile Max's output for years has become super stagnant bc he doesn't collab with up and coming talent - it's always the same team. He only works with artists he knows will sell. It's kinda become pop's answer to corporate slop atp.

It's cool seeing producers like Justin Tranter working with newer artists and developing their sound like Rose Gray. Maybe once we're out of this current hellscape era of the music industry, and real excitement comes back, we'll see new talented producers crop up making proper hits for pop stars again. As of now we're in dark times.
