but besides Fifa, all of her other collabs and single releases after TQG have flopped/done mid. Its been 3 years and she cant seem to snatch another hit no matter how hard she tries.

I mean he still has a huge social media presence and has done hits w Shakira before. Youd think people would anticipate the 3rd collab after the first 2 were hits.

Shakira managed to spawn a great streak of Latin Hits during 2022-2024 like 'Te Felicito', 'BZRP Session #53', 'TQG' and 'Soltera'.

Now... I feel like she always benefited from all that was happening in her life during that time, it boosted her career once again becoming a Touring Force with the 'LMYNL Tour'. She has been always since 'Hips Don't Lie' and 'Waka Waka' a big face into the worldwide population so she was def going back to sing at 'Zootopia' and the 'World Cup'.

Anyways, back to the OP I feel people are just not clicking because that time of 2022-2024 it's already over, maybe her team is still trying to push her into release more songs to see if they stick but it seems they are more worried about her touring.

1. It's Maluma's single, not Shakiras. She literally only reposted a story and called it a day.

2. Give it time, Shakira never smashes out of the gate.

And either way... The fact you are constantly comparing Karol G (8 years into her career) to Shakira (35 years into her career) is really not the flex you think it is

Is that what you think. We will see when she drops her new English music. I think you're heading to disappointment if you think her English era will have the same fate as Dai Dai but ill #Wait Up. Also, Malumas last actual hit was in 2023 - it has a billion streams.

Maluma is kinda done in LatAm

Maluma and J Balvin and Rauw and all the old reggaetoneros lost their ability-touch to get hits, or maybe the new generations just stopped caring about them. 'Cause it's insane how such a high number of them just faded away so fast. Something I wonder about every day is... don't they get worried about their lack of traction now???? 'Cause you look at their numbers on Kworb compared to their old numbers and theyre abysmal, their success is really small now. Maluma even bought his own private airplane? How does he afford that? Bunny and Karol G have the greatest marketing teams in the latino industry, are Gen Z fave artists, and are reggaetoneros and young.
And theyre ambitious i give them that. They dont give up with their eras. Looks like they have parasocial fanbases too sadly


Shaki is just doing random collabs for fun, and she's with Sony Latin (worst label ever) (Te odiamos afo verde), and doesn't even care about playlisting payola tricks anymore.
