  1. Just realized Shakiras next album will continue her legacy of having at least one smash hit per album
  2. In LATAM, Shakira will definitely be able to do it if she does Dónde Están Los Ladrones II 50 years later
  3. Tbh, I would rather have her wrap the tour up and focus on a new era. Like, LMYNL has been going on for 5 years (!).
  4. Summer Hit 2026 Something so genuinely funny about Shakira is that everytime she promotes something, there are one or two expressions she always uses. This time, it's "tirar la casa por la ventana". Its her "If there were a 100 people in the room"
  5. I think a Dónde Están Los Ladrones II is some sort of wildcard she could use if she is commercially struggling, but it would only help her in LATAM. I don't see it right now though. She just got a huge hit in the European market and I don't see any sense in just throwing that in the bin in order to go for a purely LATAM-focused era. I think she'll do a bilingual world music concept with LMYNL release strategy. But yeah, maybe DEL II could happen at some point in the 2030s when she isn't able to repeak anymore.
  6. Okay, I think this will probably stay at #1 until the final
  7. It's just Spotify Global #1, not a hit of course
  8. Unpopular opinion, but Read My Lips is one of my favourites (although I agree the feature is quite unnecessary). It sounds straight like from American Life.
  9. At least for the World Cup, yes. 2006 - Italy 2010 - Spain 2014 - Germany
  10. If only she had an English album ready... ugggh. If I was her, I would take whatever I had, get some old demos and put them on an album.
  11. I think we all thought the Session was going to be her final huge smash... and now she has her third #1 in three years, and this one is shaping up to be bigger than the previous two.
  12. So, what do we think this will place in the ranking of Shakiras biggest hits of all time? I think this might definitely become one of her Top5-8 hits of her career, seeing how things are unfolding.
  13. A work of hers that was truly ahead of its time and has aged like wine. It's a pity the era was managed horribly. Did It Again is Top 5 Englishkira Material.
  14. Yeah, I think this would only work for artists with careers spanning around 20 years + having an album (not singles only) that was iconic. I don't see it working for Gaga for example, as Mayhem really did already feel a lot like a "back to the roots"-moment, so I wouldn't try another throwback concept just right after. Artists I could see finding sucess with this: Taylor Swift Beyoncé Britney Spears (if she decided to unretire) Nelly Furtado (Loose 2) Shakira (Only in LatAm with Dónde Están Los Ladrones 2)
  15. I would argue Waka Waka turned her into an undeniable icon and the whole LMYNLL era definitely sealed the deal for her to become a legend. Longevity-wise, she is in the same league as Madonna and Cher.
  16. A queen One of my favorite stats to pull out when people start claiming Beyoncé was bigger than Shakira in Europe: #1 in Germany Shakira: 5 Beyoncé: 1 (and it's Beautiful Liar feat. Shakira)
  17. Easily her best track since "Like The Way I Do". Glad to see her going back to HandsUp music. It's kind of funny to me that Universal is pushing her now in this direction when it was literally their fault they started doing Dance Pop at the end of the 00s and later dropped them because it wasn't sucessful I don't see how this track would differ from anything on Everytime We Touch or Perfect Day. Production is, of course, modernized, but it is very much in the style of the first two albums.
  18. I don't think so. I still think she referred to Día de Enero that we do know she never liked. She just started singing it again after fans repeatedly asked for it and her and De la Rua became friends again.
  19. I really hope she uses this success, jumps on some hot collabs (Drake, The Weeknd?) and releases that English Album in January the latest.
  20. It's just for me and for fun, the songs aren't online or anything
  21. WHAT Unfortunately she said like a month ago that it's not ready yet. I think she only started considering an English album after the Algo Tú Flop.
  22. I actually started experimenting with Suno and created my own pop girlie. I am right now finishing her third album. Every album takes me about 3-5 months of work. Album 1 (High Heels, Higher Standards, 12 tracks. Themes: Love, Attraction, Party): 2010 Dance-Pop with some Y2K R&B Album 2 (Enjoy The Show, 16 tracks. Themes: Fame, Hardship, Nostalgia): Darker Commercial House with Pop influences Album 3 (Pretty Liar, tbd (currently still sorting it out. Themes: An Ending Love, Mistakes, Nostalgia): Y2K Electro Pop, UK Garage and some Folktronica. It really became a sort of hobby for me and I genuinely enjoy the created albums.
  23. I mean, there wouldn't be a Shakira if it wasn't for her 90s decade as well. Anyway: 00s > 90s > 20s > 10s
