  • It's really not about being trendy. It's practical. You don't have to charge them. I like that they don't completely block noise so I'm still aware of my surroundings without having me to toggle noise

They're all I use most of the time and will always give you the best possible audio quality.

  • I liked them, because bluetooth drains too much of my phone battery, but since they are becoming trendy again, my edgy ass needs to switch back to wireless

I prefer wired headPHONES, specifically because I have been mixing audio as a hobby for over a decade.

Earbuds cannot reproduce the full range of what you need to hear for a proper audio mix. Sure, it might sound good on ear buds, but in a car? A phone speaker? An audiophile setup?

I could never go back. Like god forbid you were wearing a necklace or something with a zipper and the wires would amplify every minor bump or rattle and carry the vibrations straight into your ear rip

omg this word for word!!

or when the wires get stuck in your jacket zipper when you zip it and it chews it up, absolutely amazing heart2

I never got into bluetooth. It was another thing to charge and 3 pieces to loose (2 airpods and the charging box)

wired is much more durable and easier to use

Durable? Oh the amount of times I had to throw out headphones because the damn wire would get messed up and make the sound stop working...

Nope! I always hated when they would get caught on something and get pulled out of your ear.

Apple wired earpods are so cheap, and honestly, the sound quality is really good. I stopped using my AirPods tbh.

but how do you know it really degrades if most ears can't discern it!

Science or whatever and the audiophiles on Reddit told me so cm

Aren't wired headphones/earbuds supposed to have higher sound quality or whatever.

I prefer wireless but I have a pair for when my battery runs out

I would have to replace my wired earpods every several months because they would get frayed or ****** up. My airpods lasted nearly three years despite being used several hours daily. rip

Do people only think they can buy airpods for their phones? Or are you referring to all Bluetooth earbuds as airpods?

yes they are cheaper, look better and i hear wireless ones are causing brain cancer

I think Apple is purposely phasing out their wired earbuds bc last month I went on vacation and left my AirPods at home, went to 3-4 Targets & Walmarts and the wired earbuds were out of stock at ALL of them deadbanana4 Like they can't be that in demand in 2026.

They can... I had an unused pair of wired iPhone earbuds from my iPhone 11's box, put them up for sale online a few weeks ago and I swear they sold within 15 minutes. No price negotiations, no nothing

Yes, I prefer them because I still couldn't find wireless buds that fit my ears perfectly.

It's the exact opposite for me.

Apple's wired earbuds HURT my inner ears after a few hours because they do not have the ear tip sets that AirPods have.

It literally feels like something is being jabbed in my ear eventually.

AirPods tbh >>> hippo Their only damn flaw is how easily they can get lost.

If anything the fact a second hand seller sold them immediately proves Apple is indeed purposely phasing them out / under stocking them. rip

They are not expensive to warrant trying to find a cheap second-hand seller online, it makes more sense to just get them through Apple or a physical store. The fact people have to resort to buying a $15~ earbud from a random stranger online means they had a hard time finding them anywhere else.

These are a product that has been out for over a decade, there's no reason for them to be out of stock when Apple has more than enough data on their demand at this point.

I do if its for a laptop / computer / gaming handheld. But for music, definitely need the wireless.

I already hate wired buds when it was the only thing, the limitation of movement is not cute. Not to mention dealing with tangled wire when you took them with you in your bag or pocket.

I adopted airpods as soon as it was available, it was such freedom. Never look back since.

I'm with you sister

Nicole Kidman full of joy as she leaves her attorney’s office

I was using them for years and loved em, but the major setback is they didn't last long at all. I was going through them every 3-4 months and the apple ones were $30. It just got wayyy too expensive to keep up with. Two years ago I bought knock off AirPods for the same price and they're as good as new. At least my wireless ones are cute and pink, but I do miss the wired ones every once in a while
