New compilation - her first compilation album to feature "Higher Love".

Many of these songs are already on several compilations

IMO they should have just added the newer tracks to one of the older compilations like the iconic Greatest Hits, to bump its numbers up. They could have just called it Greatest Hits (Expanded Edition) with a 4-disc vinyl/box set...but here we are: @stevyy @GreatestLoveofAll

Celebrate the unmatched legacy of one of music's greatest voices with Whitney Houston's #1s! WH1TNEY is the ultimate collection that brings together all 11 of Whitney Houston's Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles in one definitive album.

Amazing.

They said let's bank off this woman again throw another complication out

Love that album cover

i kinda feel like it's nice that there's a good compilation on vinyl that doesn't look like an embarrassment but it could stand to go a bit deeper, this hasn't even got i have nothing(!) on it

The way they milk her legacy is strange to me

oh wow it's not even a double record, that's a bit shonky tbh

The digital expanded has all of the remixes plus Higher Love though, so it's going to snatch those album-equivalent streams

I lowkey feel this is for Gen Z and beyond. Every millenial grew up in a gen X or boomer household that had the Greatest Hits compilation. And most of this tracklist is already covered there

What I really want is one of the 80s shows released in high quality. Her voice was pristine on that first tour. Someone, somewhere must have a soundboard audio of one of these shows! The South Africa album show was iconic, but her voice was clearly tired there, it wasn't her best. Plus there has to be more unreleased songs from her peak albums.

I love her so much, but this is pointless when she already has so many GH's albums already out.

The estates bills are piling up beb. How are they gonna pay for the next vacation?

Céline Dion has 20 compilation albums.

20 - Céline Dion
12 - Barbra Streisand
10 - Whitney Houston
9 - Madonna
7 - Mariah Carey

Whitney has unfortunately passed on, but why does someone like Céline have 20 compilation albums??? That's the real question here.

The cover is really pretty. With that said the release is kind of pointless since to me her 2012 greatest hits is the definitive Whitney greatest hits (and they added Higher Love to it later on too)

nice cover but not new music

This is sooo true. I remember listening religiously to my moms copy and looking at the pictures in the booklet over and over again.

They must have been so annoyed, because I was BLASTING Whitney all the time in my room.
