They would've had to rework the production to make it closer to sounding something like Like It or Not. Thematically it also feels more fitting on HC

It was not for Confessions. It was for a musical she was writing in 2003/2004 and originally had a jazzy I'm Breathless vibe to it. She rehearsed it and was going to include it on the Re-Invention Tour but then dropped it. Then it was reworked for Hard Candy.

It could have been easily the 4th single.

YES SLAYY my all time favourite Madonna song. This is why hard candy is my second favourite album only because of this song alone it's perfect.

I never get back to Hard Candy... Except for that song.

I love its atmosphere, it's very drama-ish. You can FEEL and TASTE Madonna's disappointment.

This is the only song from the album (with Voices) that actually sound like a Madonna song.

I love this song and the lyrics are some of her best...
