- How did Janet's "Where Are You Now" get airplay as a non-single through Janet era?

Beyoncé - 'B'Day (20th Anniversary edition)'
My First Time was from the Dangerously in Love era I think. It was on the bonus CD that came with the Live at Wembley DVD, along with Wishing on a Star and What's It Gonna Be. So it makes more sense to be on a Dangerously in Love re-issue. Then again, she is releasing a self-titled out-take to 'celebrate' B'Day so I guess she doesn't care about matching songs to correct eras

I don't think I am Sasha Fierce is a bad album
A lot of people do too much on this album, but it's still her second worst album for me (DIL is the worst). Most of her other albums are just so well crafted that a more patchy album will inevitably rank lower in her discography.

The Dreaming is one of Bjork's favourite albums, so may have felt disappointed with Hounds of Love as a follow-up.

Indiana University Jewish student threatens to assault Palestinian, uni says nothing
It's funny how Zionists think that "Arabs" and "Jews" are just two massive groups of people. There are Palestinian Arabs, Egyptian Arabs, Iraqi Arabs, Yemeni Arabs, Omani Arabs, Syrian Arabs, etc. and they are all different groups of people. I've seen Zionists telling Palestinians to go live in Jordan/Egypt/Lebanon as if all of these countries are interchangeable just because they speak Arabic Zionists also group all Jews together, even though plenty of Jews don't relate to Israel or Zionism, and also Ethiopian Jews, Moroccan Jews, Turkish Jews, etc. are all obviously going to have different experiences despite sharing the same religion. The Zionists who claim Palestine isn't "real" have the same logic as European colonizers who dismissed the rights of the native peoples of the Americas, Australia and many parts of Africa because they didn't have defined borders or a European-style nation-state, so therefore it wasn't 'really' their land and could be stolen by Europeans. Also, there was no such thing as an "Israeli" before 1948, so it's rich coming from them when they start claiming that Palestinians don't "exist" (like Golda Meir did, even though she happily lived in a house that belonged to a Palestinian family).

Indiana University Jewish student threatens to assault Palestinian, uni says nothing
The mere existence of a Palestinian is enough for Zionists to panic and get angry. Zionists villainize Palestinians because they lived (and continue to live) on land that Zionists want, and they're mad that Palestinians didn't roll out the red carpet for them to take Palestine, hence why Zionists resorted to ethnic cleansing in 1948 and multiple times since then. The 'crime' of the Palestinians - as far as Zionists are concerned - is existing on land that allegedly 'belongs' to Jewish people because of an ancient kingdom that existed there over 2,000 years ago. What kind of ****** up logic is that? And the worst part is that this ****** logic is why Zionists think it's ok to be violent towards Palestinians, whether by physically attacking them, shooting them, restricting or removing their freedom of movement, stealing or demolishing their homes, dropping bombs on them, and the list goes on. I've met Jewish people in real life who are nothing like this girl here. They sympathize with the Palestinian plight and want nothing to do with the state of Israel. And yet, Zionists continue to claim that their views reflect the views of all Jews, which in turn results in growing negative perceptions of Jewish people as a result of Israeli acts against Palestinians.

The amount of bullshit that Palestinians have put up with from Israel over the past 75 years since the Nakba is horrifying.

Albums You Prefer the Standard Version Of?
I wonder if Gaga wanted the album to be 17 tracks originally before Interscope told her she had to choose 3 bonus tracks? That would explain why they slotted in between standard edition songs instead of just tacked on at the end. I'm so used to the special edition that I would find it weird to listen to the album without those three songs. In my opinion the album flows fine with those three songs. OT: Beyonce - B'Day (2006) Beyonce - Beyonce (2013) Ellie Goulding - Halcyon (2012) Rihanna - ANTI (2016)

Artists you loved at first but got disappointed in their music later?
The quality of Ellie Goulding's music fell off a damn CLIFF after Halcyon. I listened to Bright Lights again recently and omg the nostalgia of it all

Electra Heart is a skipless album, agreed?
Not with Living Dead on that album.

Janet Jackson
I was going to add JJ vs. Elm Street, but really who actually cares enough to fight over these? I will say though that Come Give Your Love to Me is Janet's best pre-Control song and is better than two thirds of Disaster. OT: Damita Jo > All for You > 20 Y.O. > Slipped Disc
