I truly love this album. Even the couple songs I didn't love right away grew on me. No skips for me personally.

It's too early to say but I lowkey think she out did her excellent debut She just sounds more confident vocally and lyrically on this album. I love how she blends genres and while continuing to push African music to the mainstream. How many artists are mixing pop/amapiano/r&b/afrobeats currently in the mainstream? She's in her own unique lane and I think it will pay off in the long run for her career.

The album is quite stable streams wise, it's almost doing the same numbers as Charlie's album that debuted with double its streams

Love her, but seems this flopped in a major way. Everywhere.

I'm puzzled by what's at play.

All at once, she feels like a label priority (as evidenced by the all-out promo post-release), but the pre-release silence and fan calls for her to even share the pre-save link were telling. Have a hunch that something is up (label-side?)

There's also a baffling disconnect between her profile and her success. The latter lags majorly, while her name feels like it has growing stock to it.

Will be interesting to see if it's a case of keep swinging the bat and something will stick OR a case of another MPG hopeful whose full potential we will never see.

I like the album a lot more now than I did on first listen. I still don't think it's a great project overall, but it's definitely grown on me and there are a few songs I genuinely love now.

Chanel, Is It, and That Girl were all good single choices.

Is It Love should've never made the album, let alone been a single.

I still don't get what everyone sees in Kiss.

Double Blind, Right Now, and I Don't Care are great album tracks and really help elevate the project.

I'm still not sold on Mr. Nonchalant as the next single.

My main issue is that the rest of the album just feels like filler to me.

Selfish should be the next single. Like the hit is right there!!!!

there's no way she chose to play the song in every pre-release party when it was region locked.. it was def a label choice lol
