ngl i played petal a couple times and i love it but i still moved back on to A*POP. love both records but A*POP fits my mood better these days.

Disappointing numbers, but she just has to keep at it. Tinashe and Zara are great examples of how if you just keep at your craft in the face of flop allegations, people eventually start to respect you and give you your flowers. And you will always have a dedicated core fan base to hype you up, even if you're not smashing on the charts.

On the other hand, someone like Normani is a warning sign about what happens when an extremely talented person basically gives up the moment things don't go to plan. I hope Tyla doesn't go down that route!

After 1 week, the album did grow on me. The bops are boping. The midtempo and ballad haven't hit yet.

Hope she can get another tik tok moment.

been playing this since release, the album is good so much better than her debut which was so monotone every song sounded the same

the fact we got a clean vinyl rip of Better Than This before we found someone able to rip the Japanese CD is insane
