You think some songs will be heavy political?  She went this route with Madame X and a song like God Control is very political set to a dance beat (even though I don't care too much for the song.  The video is brilliant though) it's hard to believe that the 7 years since that album came out seeing how much more insane things have become that she wouldn't have things to get off her chest about it. 

 

Goddamn.  7 years between albums.  Talk about torture.

What does "Already Confessed" even mean? There's no way that's the title  and Algo-Rhythms is super corny.

 

I do love Absolution, Revelations, etc. Those sound instantly iconic.

Judging by the fact that we know some lyrics of few songs that were visible on some IG posts it doesn't look promising, and Stuart and Madonna are not running away from using AI so...

She needs to mahe a great pop song like Hung up again ... and no autotuned mess... on her vocals.Her music is going to live forever though...

"Already Confessed" makes no sense because it makes it seem like she has nothing new to say. If anything it should have been the title of the 20th anniversary edition of COADF. I'll take Algo-rhythms over that tbh

She doesn't have the nuance to pull off political nowadays, it'd be some corny peace and love type **** and too awkward for where we're at culturally and politically. I don't want a billionaire to preach to me about how bad the world is either.  Abstract and simplistic lyricism is what she needs.

Madonna can do political, but she needs to really focus for it to be good. Otherwise we end up with really questionable material like God Control.

Very interesting to read that the first single sounds like Vogue, but I can't see it myself. Although, the fact that Madonna and Stuart have known what the first single was going to be from the early recording sessions just proves how strong it is.

Already Confessed sounds like a fan-made title, I doubt it's true. I remember fans initially thought Rebel Heart was going to be called Iconic, and the code name for Madame X was Magic. Anyway, the concept of a Confessions sequel sounds promising, and it's exactly what she needs right now.
