Are these numbers boosted by an extraordinary amount of variants or other loopholes to boost sales? I had no idea he could smash like that without a major hit.

most things compared to as it was aren't as successful, but aperture is in no way a flop.

Nope. There are just different vinyl colors, but that's it.

Numbers aren't bad but I was expecting at least 500k following his last album.

I don't think this will have longevity.

True, some barely do half of that with vinyl with different covers, packaging and bonus tracks.

Having a multi week solo #1 since the Obama administration is a difficult thing to get now, you should be aware of the fact, or a multi week #1 studio album, also a very rare feat these days, some only have 1 in their entire discography.

Smash numbers as expected. Expect a decline but this will steady (could even increase) as the tour begins. Regardless of chart success, I think it's a fantastic album & is one of my favorites so far this year. Moral of the story: ATRL is always wrong.

Not really and the numbers are almost on par with his last albums (Fine Line did 478k and Harry's House did 521k)

Some don't have multi-week record-breaking all-time lead singles, 80+ on Metacritic, Grammys and two ORGANIC global hits, one of which is solo, tied to their recent album, along with an Oscar and vocal talent to their name either so now what.
