Horrible album, apart from like 3 songs It's such a mess and you can tell it was put together all at the last minute with no real vision, that Bruno collab is laughable She's very lucky she has Bby Wow which is actually good

She genuinely needs to record some CXOXO type songs for the album, the new album plan can stay the same but she'd be crazy to eliminate the sound completely.. Do you know what type of sound she's doing for CC5? Is it back to pop basic like her debut? Or is it Latin themed?

Her team must be so confused now and deciding wtf to do with the album lol She's still recording, she should do what Tate did after Greedy came out and get back into the studio, record a few C,XOXO type songs.. tease one of them and the planned lead single, see which one the public prefer and then release that one..

Just imagine what numbers they would've done with an actual full album…

Yes! The He Knows single cover being a picture from the Met Gala… That's also why all the album shipments have stickers on with "Includes the singles Hot Uptown and I LUV IT" etc The label was really putting all its faith on the Drake collab and it just all fell apart lol

True, but the Drake thing was also a big part of it. Pre-album release, the plan was for Hot Uptown to be the official lead single leading up to the album. It was supposed to be sent to radio, likely have a music video, promo, probably payola, etc. All of that got scrapped because of the beef and Drake taking a step back. That's also why I LUV IT wasn't sent to radio and had basically no promo. It was genuinely a buzz single, with Hot Uptown originally being positioned as the main lead. The label basically scrambled and last-minute released He Knows instead. Hot Uptown probably would've been a moderate hit for Camila, too. I mean, it debuted on the Hot 100 with zero promo and no airplay, so there was clearly some level of interest there and that was with the whole internet hating on Drake too.. imagine how it would have done if the beef never happened..
