  1. In the end, candidate quality still matters. AES is a good candidate, Bush not a very good one.
  2. Unfortunately early results are not looking good for Cori Bush.
  3. Polls close in Virginia in a little over half-an-hour. Track AIPAC endorsed Mo Seifeldein in VA-08 and Salaam Bhatti in VA-01 so those are the two to watch while we wait for Michigan and the other states.
  4. AES and Mamdani look so sexy in those outfits though.
  5. The whole world basically plundered Sub-Saharan Africa for centuries: from its people, from its resources, and now they act all high and mighty about how third-world and underdeveloped these people are. It's revolting.
  6. To be fair, the Arab world's hands aren't exactly clean in that regard either: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Saharan_slave_trade.
  7. Both Europeans and Americans are showing their privilege here. Most of us live in countries or areas where we can move freely into 50 different states or 29 different countries in a land mass the size of an entire continent. Imagine being a Moroccan from a working class background, you basically have very little money, not much hope, and are stuck in a country smaller than Texas/Sweden. Not everyone is equal in this globalized world: people from developed countries clearly have a huge advantage.
  8. If these polls hold, the election will be called 5 minutes after voting ends, so you won't even need to take Wednesday off as there will be lots of meltdowns Tuesday evening.
