The whole world basically plundered Sub-Saharan Africa for centuries: from its people, from its resources, and now they act all high and mighty about how third-world and underdeveloped these people are. It's revolting.

Both Europeans and Americans are showing their privilege here. Most of us live in countries or areas where we can move freely into 50 different states or 29 different countries in a land mass the size of an entire continent. Imagine being a Moroccan from a working class background, you basically have very little money, not much hope, and are stuck in a country smaller than Texas/Sweden. Not everyone is equal in this globalized world: people from developed countries clearly have a huge advantage.
