I'm booking my first ever massage and my friend made me feel weird about wanting a man to do it when I have a boyfriend, and I think that's ridiculous. I'm not looking for a happy ending or anything I just would prefer a guy do it…

I got a deep tissue massage not long ago to help with muscle tension I had around my shoulders. I also preferred that it was a man, I think if I'm ever in a situation where I have to remove some clothing I feel more comfortable around another man.

I went to this place once and it was a man doing it, it was just a normal massage, nothing exotic. And he kinda touched my lower butt and upper leg and it sorta felt weird so I never went again.

it's common in massage, especially the muscular massage ones, nothing to be afraid of

I need one so bad but this guy was booked 2 months in advance which is crazy but it must mean he's good nn. I started an office job and sat at a desk all day, even working from home, is making feel a little sluggish so I need a body reset

yes, but only in luxury spas, preferably japanese ones. i also prefer when it's done by women, they tend to be more in tune with a body's needs and are more gentle (even during deep tissue massage) than guys

Professionally, I've gone 5 times. Bottom line, don't engage in conversation with them. They have all the answers and solutions to whatever problem you may or may not have

Story time: a few years ago I was on a trip to Thailand with two female friends. They wanted to have a massage so I looked up a spa on Google Map near our hotel. Saw one with good rating so we went straight there.

First thing my friend noticed was that the advertising posters only featured male clients; and then I saw pairs of male customers (clearly gay) going in and out of that establishment
So I went back to Google Map to check the actual reviews: some woman commented on the good service but she was wondering why there were only male staff
well ... we went inside to ask for a massage anyway the receptionist had a look of disbelief on his face, then proceeded to make some phone calls. We waited for like 15 minutes before some old women arrived (probably from other spa nearby) to give us foot massage.

My friends complained about how bad the massage was We were seated on the 2nd floor in the open area, and I saw more gay couples going up the closed 3 floor are for god knows what

Yes, if you go to a licensed massage therapist it can genuinely make a difference. They basically know all the anatomy and physiology of the human body: no different than physios.
