Her honesty in the music has not been this apparent since Dignity, Im here for it

This is excellent.

Well it's better than Mature, but some of the lyrics feel...clunky. And I blame that and the blandness of these two songs on Matthew Koma. She's obviously never giving us Dignity again, but this isn't even BIBO Matthew Koma level.

That being said, I'm happy she's inspired and writing. We're supporting regardless even if both songs are about a 6 or 7/10.

Her voice sounds so good on this.

She made us wait 10 years for her musical comeback, but she is coming back swinging.

Roommates sounds so current, yet still so true to Hilary's musical identity.

I love that she is taking center stage this time around, telling her own personal stories and dishing on subjects she never has before.

She's not just coming back for the sake of it. She has a clear vision, and I can't wait to hear the full story when it's dropping on February 20th.

I think this is going to break through to the GP. My straight quirky friend that's a girl texted me saying she loves it. She's also a swiftie and said it sounds like anti hero 😂

Wow this song hits HARD for me.

My last relationship (my dream guy, I was so in love with him) fizzled out because he never showed me physical affection or gave me any affirmations. Towards the end we practically felt like glorified roommates.

omg this is my biggest problem too! It reminds me of the chorus of Invitation by Britney when she sings "we give emotions to each other." If you don't know what I'm talking about then give the song a listen, you'll hear it perfectly.

This song is gorgeous and ironically more mature than Mature even sounds. I love how she sings the chorus like the sisters of HAIM do. It's so indie pop coded. Video is heartfelt.
