I wonder if she chose that song in her TikTok because she's been using synths recently. Obviously LG8 won't sound anything like that but the idea of synth pop excites me, I think because I picture it being something brighter and airy. Which I would love to see from her.

I'm not going to lie, seeing her turn 40 did make me feel something. Not because it's old (it's not) but because she's still so current, so modern, even more than many artists of the new generation, that sometimes it feels like she's still 25.

On another note, I know that later pregnancies are more common nowadays thanks to medical advances, but I really hope her wish to become a mother comes true soon

Vanish Into You sounds like a timeless classic, in a way that none of her songs did since The Edge of Glory (mind you, I don't love this one, I'm just being objective). Of course TEOG failed to live up to its promise, but she messed up by not giving Vanish a try.
