I am a huge fan of hers and I agree with this. Her silence is a choice and a bad one. That said I dont think she is a Zionist and theres not much evidence to support that. She is probably secretly sympathetic to Palestine but wants to protect her money/brand and is in bed with a venture capitalist. Money has definitely changed her and she's always wanted to be well loved by EVERYONE, not just her fanbase. Hence, the silence on this that will not age well for her. Just my two cents as someone fairly obsessed with her.

Born This Way is my favorite album of all time. It borrows HEAVILY from her favorite acts but thats why its so fun - it's a jukebox of Gagas favorite 80s and 90s artists and beyond. I hear Bruce Springsteen. I hear Billy Idol. I hear ABBA. I hear Cyndi Lauper. I hear Whitney Houston. I hear Judas Priest. I hear Shania Twain. And Im sorry but I just dont hear a ton of Madonna in an album driven by influences/references. I do more in TFM, but I dont think she was as big of an influence in Gaga's actual music as her fans want to make her out to be.

Sorry to the haters but he has done wonders to improve the left's image online. He actively campaigns for progressive candidates and calls out the Gavin Newsomes of the world. The whipped up dog shock controversy and the way the right is starting to clearly feel uneasy about him is proof in itself that he has power. You can definitely feel uneasy about having one male millionaire as the face of the online left - but he hasnt done anything yet to deserve the vitriol.

I think she lives or dies by the writing - when she's good she's good, but she struggles to elevate a bad script or a boring role. She blew me away in Challengers and Euphoria and was good in The Drama. But Dune was pretty rough for her. I haven't seen The Odyssey yet.

The GP has horrific taste wbk. But also Loser and Dracula werent really panned themselves - it was the rest of the album (minus End of Summer) that people seem to have panned. He had a really good singles strategy. A reverse Gaga-ian experience.
