No literally, it's brain rot. Horny gays who get no action in real life, so they come here and pollute our beloved ATRL Lady Gaga thread with their smut

I wouldn't be shocked if they take photos of people they find attractive in public either

But I wouldn't put it past Gar to make that prediction come true. There is both passion from Gaga and label incentive. Walk with me:

  1. Gaga has finally regained her passion for pop music and has started working on new music as early as Q4 last year, 5 months ago. Going so far as to build studios in her hotel rooms, which suggests a strong urgency to make music. Fast forward to December, and she's on tape talking about new music with Zane Lowe. Now I don't know about y'all, but I started following Gaga pre-Joanne, and I'm used to waiting 3 years for new music and then getting interviews where she gives basic non-descriptive answers like "I love music, music is my life". I was shocked to hear her say she wouldn't rule out a new release just a year after her latest album.

  2. After the huge year she just had, we all expected her to start laying low, and instead, here she is conceptualizing new concerts from scratch, giving multiple performances at the biggest pop culture events in the world. If we didn't know better, we could argue that she's just milking the Mayhem era dry before going on a break, but since she has intentionally and explicitly talked about working on new music on multiple occasions, that doesn't seem to be the case. It reads more as someone who wants to keep the momentum going. If there wasn't new music on the horizon, she would've probably released a new single from Mayhem or a deluxe, but it seems pretty clear that that ship has sailed.

  3. Now the label incentive: If we look at artists who have dominated streaming, in the periods where they dominated streaming, Taylor, Ariana, Drake, Bad Bunny, etc., they have one thing in common: releasing music very frequently. Gaga has had an explosion in streaming numbers starting in 2022, which keeps on building momentum. Just looking at the numbers, I'm sure there's a huge interest for her to keep that momentum going, as she might just be one successful album away from becoming one of the MVPs of streaming.

Let's not trust La Maison Gaga, they lie with passion.

Bruno opening prediction being 200k+ Gaga's real boat mate. He clears in bagging hits but we'll give Gaga a point in acting/star power

Bruno is also half Puerto Rican like Godga as of February 8th, 2026.

They're truly compañeros de barco.

LaMaisAttentionGaga doesn't know **** but yes, it will be a big year for her.

100%

Historically, when Gaga records during an era, the next project tends to come months later not yearS + the MAYHEM era feels creatively closed, even if she has another tour leg.

Born This Way (written/recorded during the MBT took 14 months, but she toured until release month May 2011) & ARTPOP development overlapped with late BTW (ARTPOP was released just 10 months after the end of the BTWBall).

I'd also add that after the AOTY loss this year, she might try to use that creative fire to lean into the "overdue" narrative, something no other major artist will really have next year, since most of them already have multiple GF wins.

The goodwill toward her right now is pretty unmatched in her career, to the point that certain fanbases are still spiraling trying to take her down, lmao

It's exciting to know she still hasn't teased what her look will be for LG8.

I feel LG8 will have multiple genres like Mayhem since she consistently stressed that Caucasianne/Chromebook had a specific sound and didn't live up to her typical artistry for that reason.

Multi-genre albums just fit her really well. TF, TFM, and BTW are all opuses because of that fact. Even one of Artpop's strengths was having a fusion of genres.

The most most important part. You want to have quick #1 or increase sales or grow fanbase? You need to release frequently. Like BTS and Taylor (but with quality from Miss Gaga)

And I am starting to think that Gaga and her team are catching on about that. She did TDD which was out of nowhere. She is doing prada song this year. Plus I ain't ruling out the fact that she could release new album this year (I hope next year because it is too packed, but she can release single before Grammy deadline hihi)

I am too excited.

You all thinking she will strike while the iron is hot ijbol

She will wait until the conversation has died out completely before dropping a 30-day presave and then dipping out until the single gets released

TDD was a done deal before Mayhem was released. And I don't think soundtrack singles count, even Taylor at the height of her powers or Rihanna at the peak of her anticipation didn't manage to make a hit out of these.

What really matters are studio albums.

Also because it feels unexpected. At the beginning of the MAYHEM era, she clearly implied this would be her last big hurrah before focusing on marrying Michael and having children. And obviously that's still something they want, but her creative drive seems to have been impossible to ignore, hence why she's been recording new music for the past six months, which is roughly the same amount of time it took her to write and record Joanne from scratch.
