I agree. We should leave Beyoncé out of all the comparaisons to Gaga, they are on different level nowadays. Gaga is consistently top streamed females, Beyoncé is OUT. Look at the Spotify top chart, Tate McRae is Beyoncé boatmate, not Gaga.

This means nothing. It doesn't matter how song accumulated its units: in first months or with longevity. By this logic, Toxic by Britney isn't a smash in USA either, because it peaked only at 9? Sweater weather is literally one of the biggest songs in history of music that everyone knows which didn't reach top10 in any chart. There tons of examples. HIH is a legit hit.

Nothing went wrong. The only chart that actually matters is IFPI. Gaga's album is top10 and this is considering DWAS accumulated most of its units before the release, so they didn't count. I didn't see Beyoncé in IFPI top10 albums chart since 2016, GUTS also was never there, MBF as well…. But sure, congrats on having bigger sales for one week in one country, that's surely impressive feat.
