Even if take out subjective assessments like How Bad being a much superior song to Don't Call Tonight, it also brings something different to the album. Don't Call Tonight is more redundant whereas no other song really sounds like How Bad either on the album or really in Gaga's career.

HBDUWM plays an important role on the album in helping add heavier sounds toward the latter half and adding a more diverse sound palette that truly shapes the "mayhem" of the album. I've never bought into the propaganda that it's "basic pop". There's a reason it's continuously one of the most streamed deep cuts.

HBDUWM is garbage but an easy listen.
