I feel like Brooklyn Nights would've done well in the 2014 landscape if she had released it as a standalone single with a fitting, powerful music video. I wonder if she could've made it feel separate and independent from ARTPOP though. It could've been a mini-reinvention and goodwill move before Cheek to Cheek.

This is what the stage looks like inside the stadium. Not too bad tbh.

Brooklyn Nights? In this economy?!!

I was run out of the base several times for defending the Chromatica Ball stage, but her set up in Australia really is inexcusable. She's charging Beyonce/Taylor money now so she needs to provide a stage that provides a good view from the cheap seats like they do. Makes no sense that the highest attended concerts of her career are about to be some of the cheapest looking she has ever done relative to the venue size.

There were kpop acts doing fewer dates in the country that managed a more impressive setup with much larger screens and larger sound systems.

for me, the problem is that she HAS A STAGE and she's not going to use it (Brazil, Mexico, Singapore shows)... girl...
